All Im hearing is people demanding that Israel stop winning this war, which is pretty much the same as allowing Hamas to recuperate, rearm and recruit more combatants. I mean I dont remember anyone here even considering how they would get Hamas to surrender, even though that would be the fastest way to end this conflict and prevent more deaths. And stop using that word indiscriminate because its stupid and untrue. Everybody knows Israel has the firepower and air capability to level the entire area into rubble, thus suffering no casualties of their own, but that would be indiscriminate and cause maximum civilian casualties so they dont do it.

Sure, I dont disagree. Even one death can be traumatic for the victim obviously and their loved ones. That said, theres a numbers game being played by some very vocal persons, not just on CE, and it comes across as disingenuous and questionable to begin with, and theres no point in pretending we dont see it.

Not just hiding. Apparently Hamas fighters wear civilian clothes in battle, which you can see in the videos that they recorded of themselves. Now theres no doubt that children have died and other civilians have died, but it does compromise the legitimacy of the total number of civilian deaths being claimed.

Israel got invaded by 4 countries literally the day it became an independent nation. The Palestinians and surrounding nations may not have agreed with Israels establishment, but they lost territory because they started a war.

Hmm, thats pretty much how wars have been fought throughout human history, although most nations at least dont turn their conquered enemies into slaves anymore. The taking it too far is ambiguous. Typically, wars are fought until one side surrenders, but we do have examples of armistice being accepted if its actually followed.

I think it would have been fine to just have Devil Jin as a new stance for regular Jin. Jin is already doing moves with DJ-style effects such as with the wings. Im hoping too that Panda and Kuma have very different move sets that will justify taking another character slot.

Overall looking forward to the announcement of the brand new characters and playing the released game.

Nah, IDF and anyone with functioning brain cells already knew theres a massive network of tunnels underneath Gazas residences, schools and so on. So, yes, the controversy is whether or not that justifies IDF striking those tunnels in order to eliminate combat forces, but at the expense of civilians living above ground. The origin of the ordnance that hit that specific hospital earlier has been questioned by pretty much everyone, while the IDF is claiming it was not theirs. So-called friendly fire is a real thing in combat, so its not impossible for Hamas or another group to have struck the hospital by accident or whatever.

Yeah, I enjoyed Prince of Egypt.

The partition of Palestine is the root cause of the conflict. Palestinians never wanted it, were never going to tolerate it, and never will. Historically anyway, I dont think anyone who was occupying conquered land got to decide what their fate would be. Their fate was pretty much up to the mercy of the (edit: conquerers). We look to the United Nations to ideally be the arbiters in these kinds of affairs in modern times, but theyve consistently shown an inability to do so, unfortunately.

Of course Israel has and is bombing a variety of facilities. Thats why they drop leaflets and communicate warnings to civilians within the area to evacuate. They absolutely have killed civilians, however, which is expected when you have firefights and use ordnance in residential and commercial zones. The argument though is that Hamas does not employ the same types of warnings and in fact has targeted civilians specifically for execution and abduction. On the other hand, any stray IDF bullet, rocket or shell that kills even one Palestinian civilian could be viewed as unacceptable, but it does seem unrealistic to expect otherwise given the nature of modern weaponry in urban settings. If there is a practical real world solution to this, then lets heat it.

As for Hamas and human shields, denying that is just silly. They are not an armed force that fights in the classical battlefield sense. They are literally fortified and operating within and also underneath (ie tunnels) the neighborhoods being hit by the IDF. I think if you can not admit how that correlates to civilian deaths and the value it brings Hamas in generating sympathy from an individual (edit: or collective) outside audience, then Im not convinced youre even trying to be honest about the conflict.

Tbh, it did not really faze them for too long because they did view a lack of belief in a divine Jesus as being a huge sin, almost unbelievable really. It just doesnt compute for a lot of them because their belief is kind of a given fact such as needing air to breathe or food and water to survive.

There does not seem to be any source, media or otherwise, that people trust. Certainly no one trusts their oppositions government mouthpieces and even news outlets like the BBC, CNN and such have lost credibility over the years. Likewise, modern politics is a team sport and left wont trust right and right wont trust left. Knowing this, perhaps the discussion is ultimately irrelevant to both the IDF and Hamas. Theyll keep killing until they or their opponents are dead.
