Anyone who has ever browsed the relationship subreddits know that this is a frequent complaint from women. Di many men just dont clean up after themselves and expect women to do all of the housework. Literally nothing gets done unless the woman does it and then these women come to Reddit looking for advice.

One of my friends told me about how her ex-fiance would come home from work and just throw all of his clothes off at the door for her to pick up. Shit is crazy to think about.

Every woman who comes to my house always comments on the cleanliness and organization of it. They always seem surprised because they have similar experiences as the woman in this post. Im not even a neat freakI just wont live in filth or nastiness. Im glad to know the bar is so low. Just another one-up I have on most guys who expect a mommy rather than a partner.

One part that bothered me was he put in our new washer and dryer. He spent 5 hours fixing our new dryer.

If it is new and already broke it should be under warranty. I guess he broke it somehow and had to fix it, but it still seems strange imo.

Random projects

You are misreading if you're only seeing one study in Great Britain

a 2009 study that finds "only 31% of men and 65% of women washed their hands" after using a public restroom.

...a 2013 Michigan State University field study conducted by research assistants who observed nearly 4,000 people in restrooms around East Lansing, Michigan.

The study found 14.6% of men did not wash their hands at all after using the bathroom and 35.1% wet their hands but did not use soap, compared to 7.1% and 15.1% of women, respectively.

There have been several studies on this, so I can link more. And I've seen it firsthand where guys in my office building will use the urinal and just leave without washing their hands. Which is why I think it's believable that some guys don't brush their teeth or are otherwise very messy at home.

It sounds like this specific woman is mad that her husband isnt obeying her and seems to be too chill about a lot of home stuff, so aired her gripes publicly. But maybe shes too controlling. Maybe its toxic femininity. Maybe shes insecure. Hang on, let me pull up the usual buzzword retorts that get used, just from the other side.
