No. The game is totally forgettable and it really loses all steam after the first couple hours and you have to force yourself to reach the end.

I have 50,000 in the bank as my total "wealth" and I feel like I'm doing better than most millenials. To put things in perspective this would be like me giving $15 to charity for Hurricane Harvey.

He got convicted because they found that he would have had plenty of room to break if had been riding a road legal bicycle. He went out of his way to buy a bike that was illegal for use on the road and then he ran over and killed a person.

I'm not disagreeing with that but I'm asking about the front break specifically.

He was going 10-15mph right? Wouldn't the front break just have thrown him face first into the pavement?

I figured he should be locked up for the same charges but for negligence or straight up recklessness to not get out the way or something.

It takes a fraction of distance for a bike with front brakes to come to a full stop, safely or not, let alone slow to a speed where an impact wouldn't be enough to kill a person. Fixie bikes really are far worse at breaking than standard bikes which is the reason why the are illegal to ride on roads in many places including the UK where this guy did it.

Maybe I'm just judgemental but maybe, just maybe, when you are on trial for killing a person because you were riding on a ridiculously illegal hipster bicycle that has gimped breaks for hipster reasons you should remove the facial piercings before you appear in court instead of appearing with a hip hairdo and your ring piercing through your nose through the cheek gold dot like a stylish little tworp that can't be bothered to conform with societal norms at all after you fucking killed a person because you couldn't be bothered with stylish norms like regular legal brakes on your bike so you paid extra so that you could get a bike without brakes.

Before I joined the Army I thought I was 6'3". Then I got measured barefoot over and over and over and over again during PT tests and learned I am between 6'1 and 1/4th or 6'1 and a 1/3rd inches tall.

The bigger point to be made is that by the time those events in the 1700's happened most of the damage from smallpox had been done. The only reason that Europeans and for that matter Asians and Africans all had some resistance to smallpox was that the disease had already ravaged every corner of the old world repeatedly over the course of thousands of years.

It didn't need people spreading it intentionally with blankets in order to kill most of the population in the Americas. It spread faster across the continent than Europeans did.

I'm not saying that Columbus was a good guy but it is just stupid to pretend like the only reason that smallpox killed most of the people in the Americas was that some jerk intentionally spread it. It was going to happen at some point once Europeans or Asians or Africans landed made contact with the new world.

Long story short ....

The two big community powers in the 60's were the Russians the Chinese. They ended up hating each other for various cultural, political, and geographic reasons. Stalin died and the Russians finally admitted that Stalin was a piece of shit in a lot of ways and Mao didn't like that because he was afraid people would realize how big of a piece of shit Mao because he was the Chinese Stalin was part of the reason. Another part was disputes that predated Communism. Russia has a huge border with China and they both have been vying for influence along that border since the old Russian empire reached that far east.

Anyways.... in 1968 things boiled over enough that the Chinese demanded the Vietnamese stop accepting military aid from the Soviets. The Vietnamese chose the Soviets over the Chinese for various reasons but mostly because the Soviets were a lot richer and more powerful in 1968.

The Chinese ended up supporting other 'communist' revolutions/governments in the region the most significant one being the khmer rouge in Cambodia. Apart from killing a quarter of their own population (a couple million people) the Khmer Rouge also killed tens of thousands of Vietnamese on the Cambodian side of the border and on the Vietnamese side..... which led to Vietnam invading in 1978. Vietnam invaded Cambodia and overthrew the Khmer Rouge and then Chinese invaded Vietnam to try to punish Vietnam for invading Cambodia.

......... Why did China support the Khmer Rouge and then fight a war with Vietnam? Ask China. I get the feeling that China just feels like Vietnam is their backyard and they wanted control over what happens there. Wars happen for lots of dumb reasons but the bigger point is that when the US left Vietnam we went back to America but when China left they just strolled across the border. Vietnam is a lot more paranoid that China will invade again than the US.

I hate to break it to the topic but..... in Colorado bears this bold are generally hunted down and killed because they are likely to be conditioned into conflict with humans.

Why would I need a source on this? It is a known historical event from 120 years ago. If you google "largest mass lynching in us history". All the results point to this event. 2. Literally all of the difference in per capita income between the us and Norway can be accounted for with oil exports. It is 20% of their gdp.

I'll speak as yes another person that has been a long time fan of the series (read all the books before the movie came out) that doesn't give a single fuck that Ed Sheeran made a cameo in the series.

I recognized him but his presence if anything enhanced the scene. The whole scene was about Arya coming upon a troop of Lannister soldiers and encountering the fact that they just like any soldiers in this war engulfing Westeros. They aren't demons and they aren't necessarily worse than the men than Arya grew up around.

Having a soldier with a great voice singing to his comrades just fit in with what they were trying to get across.

Its easy to look back on history and imagine that it was all predetermined from the start but people didn't view it that way at the time. Japan was at a massive disadvantage in industrial might compared to the US but so was Vietnam years later.

They didn't need to occupy our country to get what they wanted they just needed to push us to the point where we were willing to let them have their way in their corner of the globe. If they had taken out the carriers at Pearl Harbor or if they had managed to do it at Midway or some other battle (which was totally possible if the roll of the dice had favored them instead of us) then you can't really say with 100% certainty that the US would have just kept rebuilding again and again through multiple defeats.

Because it was the logical next step after they bombed Pearl Harbor.

literally 28 years old and having levels of a 90 year old man.

Think about the consequences of hiding information. In Denver in 2008 if someone had said "there are gangs of black people going around attacking random white people on the 16th street mall every weekend. You don't hear about it in the news because the cops are hiding the information because of political correctness" I would have thought you were a racist conspiracy theorist.

If you said it in any year after 2009 I would think "Oh no not again". The point being that for all I know the random rumor may be more true than the lack of reporting about the situation in the news because the city and police department have a history of covering this kind of thing up.

So instead of this being some bad shit that happened years ago it becomes an enduring myth in the community because you don't really know if things have gotten better or the cops have just gotten better at covering up the crimes that occur. Instead of a lack of information leading you to think the information isn't there a lot of people assume the worst and you can't blame them.

The cop was being an asshole.

Cops can literally pull you over for going 1 mph over the speed limit in most places and give you a ticket which results in most people slowing the fuck down when a cop is behind them.

Its a catch 22. The cop can pull you cover for going the above the speed limit and apparently the cop can pull you over for going exactly the speed limit. We don't even know which we are seeing in this video. For all you know this guy was going 52 in a 50 and the cop gave him a speeding ticket.
