This type of shit is actually why I avoid Angry Joe and a few other reviewers on youtube that have heaps of views. It just doesn't feel genuine to me. It isn't "well this game just ain't good gentlemen" its a guy hamming up his reactions and basically acting like a clown. It seems like the kind of shit a 12 year old or a moron would be rolling around laughing at because they can't tell it is fake. The same dumbfucks that are into professional wrestling are into angry joe and his ilk.

The basic reasoning behind buying gold or silver is a lack of faith in the federal reserve being able to keep inflation under control. It isn't for some kind of an apocalyptic scenario but more for a situation where there is just a really big misstep by the powers that be in this country that leads to inflation of the value of the paper currency significantly exceeding what we've seen in since the 1970's.

There are only two things I can't stand in this world: people that are intolerant of other people's cultures and the DUTCH.

The replication crisis extends across all scientific domains, not just psychology. Psychology is just the field at the forefront of trying to understand it and make changes to the scientific culture to ensure better practices.

The difference with psychology is that there is not a core foundation to rest upon. I'm thinking of Force = Mass * Acceleration or the fact that mixing certain elements together at certain temperatures and pressures will cause known chemical reactions.

Its always been common knowledge in psychology that many prominent theories of the past have ended up being nonsense (Think Freud). With the current replication crisis in psychology you now know that even most of the very scientific sounding studies that have been produced up the present day are also simply false.

The fact is that if a person had got a bachelors in psychology in 1988 or 2018 most of what they learned was just plain wrong. The big list of psychological conditions and theories they memorized was mostly about as valid and true as theories about astrological signs. Now they learned other skills like paper writing and statistics and they exercised their minds even if the things they were learning were mostly fluff so I wouldn't call the degree useless but honestly I would place more value on a degree in philosophy or history than on psychology because you aren't going to come to find out that most of the cute little theories you learned about how the human mind works were bullshit.

A lot of psychology basically amounts to pseudoscience. Psychologists apply something resembling the scientific method to data that they collect from experiments involving people and write up a paper sounding as confident as they can in some conclusion when ultimately in the vast majority of cases it is complete nonsense.

I actually don't go to Chic Fil A that often because the one near me always has an insane line. They make a good chicken sandwich but so does Burger King.

There is a certain class of people in this country that just treat every little problem that they identify in themselves and their children with medication rather than just working through it and then they end up in this cycle of chasing a mythical state of bliss by popping pills all day.

Its funny how youre using who he is to downplay the fact that hes been one of the most well known activists of the last 5 years. Its not just who he is, its what hes done. Which is a lot more than you or me.

I'm not downplaying anything. Neither Bush could have gotten into Yale without being legacy admits and hell you can argue H.W. Bush looked better with the legacy + war hero status after WW2. Obama in a million years couldn't have gotten into Harvard with his grades and test scores without being black.

The Ivy League schools are private schools that have and probably always will have a ton of leeway in regards to who they do or don't admit. They maintain their elite status partly through admitting the rich and famous and partly through admitting people with perfect test scores and grades that wan't to be rich or famous.

The only people I would call out would be the people that celebrate someone like David Hogg getting into Harvard without at least giving a nod of the hat to the fact that he never in a million fucking years would have gotten in without some kind a special hand out.

The most common response I've seen is that the large slave population that was brought to Mexico either died or melted into the general population a long time ago. The definition of black or brown is very different in Latin America in general than it is in the US.

It obviously isn't the kind of shit you forgive and forget but we would have to assume that it was some kind of mistake. Russia would have to pay in some way but the US launching a nuke back without some kind of explanation from them could quickly lead to thousands of nukes being killing a large portion of the global population and nearly everyone in the US and Russia.

If we must respond with nuclear retaliation I think at the very least we would owe it to ourselves and the world to tell the Russians "we are aiming at a city with around the same population as died in your hit on us" and then respond as such while keeping the rest of our nuclear forces on high alert.

I liked her on the Nickoledeon shows when I was a kid but that doesn't look like Amanda Bynes anymore. Probably just a nose a job.
