The US has hundreds of C-130's and only a handful of them are AC-130's. The vast majority are cargo and transport or cargo aircraft.

I actually took a flight in a weird one where we sat on the sides of the plane with huge boxes sitting in the middle between the rows of people sitting which felt a bit unsettling.

1. Joined the Army in 2007
2. Got a Computer Science degree debt free from with the GI Bill in 2016 and started working.
3. Lived at home for a couple years saving up money
4. Got a home with a VA home loan in 2018 (375k place at the time. Was a bit of a stretch for me).

I'm doing well financially right now. My income has increased by a lot since I moved in and I refinanced when the rates were crazy low (2.8%) so my payment per month has gone down a lot, my wife (who I met a few months after I moved to this place) is also in software, and makes about the same as me so we are the opposite of house poor.

I could afford a place like this now but there is no way in hell I could have afforded it as an average software engineer, even one with no debts, two years out of college.

That one specifically was a weird MMO Diablo clone that was OK but was shut down in 2017 after it underperformed. Think last gens Marvel's Avengers.

I've got a Honda Accord as my daily driver and a Honda Pilot as my car for bad weather (AWD is great in the snow), road trips, and basically any situation where I would need to carry more than two people around.

I prefer driving sedans and if I was single would probably just have nice AWD car like an Acura TLX, or a Kia Stinger. Love feeling closer to the road.

The US still has the rule of law and people don't tattoo "I'm a criminal please kill me" all over their bodies like they do/did in El Salvador. We have a functional court system where other countries send us cartel leaders to be convicted by US juries because we still have a functioning society.

That being said I can't fault El Salvador for doing what they are doing. If we reached that point I would support summarily executing every single person in a gang if jurors, cops, judges, were being killed.

I think most Americans would agree if we got to the point where Mexico is at with cartels battling the army on the streets and winning some of the time we would just kill every single fucking person in the entire country suspected of being in a gang. We would kill everyone will a gang tattoo. We would be invading Mexico to kill all of them there. If people in the US were being killed on juries by cartel leaders in latin America we would be dropping fucking hydrogen bombs on latin america. We would come through like the end of fucking days killing hundreds of thousands or even millions of people until we got back to the point where a jury of Americans could try a cartel leader and convict of their crimes as we have done in the past few years.

My grandmother liked it because it was smaller than the supermarkets and easier to walk through but I don't see the appeal to be honest. Its like King Soopers (Krogers) or Safeway with less stuff.

It reminds me of Whole Foods or Sprouts which also don't appeal to me because I think organic food is a pseudoscientific scam.

If the Germans had won the war and killed everyone they wanted to kill there would still be gay Germans, and trans germans in Germany after Jewish people and other ethnic and religious minorities were long gone. Because they aren't a race, or a religion. That is the difference.

I'm not saying that it was OK to murder people but not all murder is genocide. It isn't some "this killing wasn't genocide so it wasn't as bad" it just by definition isn't genocide.

Religion is cultural. Most religions in human history and pre history have actually been destroyed. Trans people have probably always existed even if there wasn't a word for it in the same way gay people do.

I don't think that JK Rowling is advocating eliminating trans people from public but past that trans people aren't a race or ethnic group.

They couldn't be genocided even if someone wanted to do that because there isn't a gene that someone can detect and say "these are all the trans people". They could be born into any family. Its literally impossible to commit a genocide against trans people.

This is actually how my parents handled the dogs I grew up with dying while I was in the Army. I deployed twice and each time at the end they were like "Bad news before you come back home. Dog died." When I left the Army and came home for good I asked them before I got back "the dog is still alive?" even though it was a new pup and it was only about 3 years old at that point.
