Actually TNA's women's title randomly gets main event slots sometimes. I think they treat the title somewhat respectably-- it may be the second most prestigious title in the organization right now thinking about it. That speaks more to how mishandled the others are but whatever. (and over the lifetime the X-Division at the very least beats it out)

I wouldn't call any of them "world" titles but TNA is the closest thing to one-- though not far enough ahead that the Divas title can realistically be discarded if you give the TNA title cred-- mostly think about Jakyl's idea of women willingly jumping between the two.

Shimmer would be but just doesn't have the exposure.

Glacier's 1st theme kinda sucks I think. There's only so much blatant MK Ripoffery I can take.

Which I mean, isn't exactly unfitting, but I like the 2nd one better because it's unique at least. Well I think it sounds better too but I probably like it more because it distinguishes the character a bit. I also think it fits his entrance better.

Not that there's anything wrong with that they're both awesome and themes I nominated. And I was looking for it forever too-- in fact almost all the themes I nominated first were themes I was looking for forever at one point.

Actually I'm pretty close to having found pretty much every wrestling theme I was looking for at this point. The only three I haven't found in reasonably clear form now that I can recall are The New Midnight Express, Wrath's 1st WCW Theme, and Glacier's 2nd WCW Theme.

You just think you do it better now because you get better looking every day so to speak, and just happen to play mafia now so you may falsely attribute it to that

I don't know maybe I'm wrong. I feel if you're good at conversational skills you'll be intrinsically better at mafia with regards to some things, but I feel message board mafia is so far removed from social situations (in more than one way) that it won't really help you. Then again psychology is a powerful thing so maybe just thinking it helps you will help you. *shrug

I'm just saying I don't consider John Cena evidence that kids dislike gimmicks for that reason. Put John Cena in a Sin Cara suit as a super hero but keep his interviews and stuff the exact same and kids still like him imhhho.

Eh. I'm just saying I don't think Cena is normal person. He's too goodie goodie. He's too good at pulling through when his back is against the wall.

He's written realistically at times but that doesn't make the character realistic. I'm not saying he's entirely gimmicky but the part of him that applies to kids is.

I'm pretty sure you're being facetious there, but you shouldn't be.

Message board mafia is a game. Getting better at lying there, reading people there, debating there, it doesn't have any bearing on actual social situations. You might get better at doing these things on a message board but I don't think that's even the case. The problem is that mafia presents a scenario that isn't particularly like things you'd debate about or lie about or read people on in a real social situation.

Cena's Hulk Hogan with cargo pants. He's plenty gimmicky it's just not as blatant.

I certainly wouldn't call Cena badass anyway. If the kiddies were crazy cheering for Randy Orton on the other hand I might think about it. I'm pretty sure Cena stomps Orton to the kiddie crowd though.

And yes I want the damn eagle back.

Eh I think we're talking about different children demographics.

I'm talking like 4-9 year olds. You know, the ones that are significantly below the TV-14 line. I dunno, though, I might be wrong, I don't have extensive exposure to kids these days (though I do have some)-- I'm just saying I don't think that shift starts to happen until they get close to being teenagers-- but that's kinda how I was too.

Honestly what I don't get is why there aren't more ridiculous gimmicks popping out since WWE PG started. If the show is supposedly marketing to children again, children love ridiculous gimmicks. I'm not saying we should return to the early 90s, but I'm pretty sure Funkasaurus is the only truly gimmicky guy on the roster right now, which seems like a misuse of the demographic they're supposedly going towards.

Main reason I'm behind Funkasaurus Clay (other than it being hilariously ridiculous to the point where I think I could've booked it) is that WWE already has a saturation of monsters that are lauded for their power. Henry, Kane, Big Show-- hell even Ezekiel Jackson in the midcard. It just seems redundant to have yet another one when they're not even fully using the ones they have. And with 3/4 of those guys being main eventers, you don't really want Clay heading towards the main event with that gimmick any time soon anyway.

Connecting the 360 to the Internet is inconvenient. Unless you have a laptop you need to get an add-on to do it easily, or move stuff around more than you want to. 40 million XBL users off of 66 million systems seems high if anything to me.

Field goals are pretty much only interesting to watch when they're blocked or they're for the game for me. I totally see where Extha's coming from there.

I'd rather see a 0-0 defensive lockdown than a 21-0 field goal barrage. After the first two field goals the game is no longer close and would probably put you to sleep with the combination of the team that's behind not showing any signs of life and a lack of big plays from either team (since defensive stops don't matter as much if the team behind can't stop them from extending their lead and the team ahead is already ahead)

Ken has the flaming shoryuken, and that combined with his normals which have diverged pretty significantly from Ryu makes him play a more aggressive style
Ryu's got better fireballs and the thrust kick special move
And yeah their supers are completely different

Then yeah, the characters. Ryu's basically 100% focused on the training and the fight and crap. Also he's got the DARK HADOU thing. Ken has a lot less discipline and has a life, and is a lot less serious and more bold/cocky in general.

As has been said, Wesker might just seem less strong than the others (for me at least) because of the nature of the game being 3v3, meaning Wesker has a comparatively lesser effect on the match.

And for that same reason it's also less ridiculous to me to see 6 Weskers in the final 8 than say like 3 Yuns in the final 8, I'd say. Teams are bigger so just because Wesker is on a lot of teams doesn't mean he's carrying most of them.

But I also feel that with some slight nerfs (removing the damage buff he gets when he removes his glasses after one of his ultras or just lowering his health a bit) Wesker simply falls into the top tier, rather than "probably best in the game but not broken." Wesker has a decent amount of bad match-ups and while his gun assist is a good tool it doesn't really control a match like better assists can. Actually Wesker has a lot of bad match-ups, kinda, it's just that he's good against a lot of the meta-game and his bad matches aren't that bad cause he's kinda versatile. I'd say most small characters or characters with a good range game have an advantage over him though.

I still don't think the mechanics of the card game are the worst ever. FF8's are superior but yeah, it's mostly getting no good cards ever.
