Tidus OSB Things I got that I was really happy to get that DID cost an arm and a leg (mythril-- I know better than to buy gems to get items I basically use them exclusively for 100 draws): Dark Cecil DARK SWORD (Back when soul breaks were basic things) Tidus's Shield (Tidus not having Hastega is criminal) Meanwhile, I have like, without exaggeration: 30+ miscellaneous FF2 relics 10+ Yuna Relics (6 Full Metal Rods, 3 Tiny Bees, The Sending, at minimum) 5+ Jecht Relics 5+ Paine Relics Pretty much Tyro soul break aside from his overflow and despite intentionally avoiding every banner with him on it (all "lucky" draws) It's just like, enough is enough, man. Part of me wants to reroll till I get a good Setzer roll on the FFVI banner and just start the game over. With the amount of power creep in all the game's rewards it might be worth it. --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

I'm actually pretty good on ability hones, equipment, etc etc. I mean just caving an using Tyro would solve a lot But the game is not fun with Tyro. Needing to use him to clear everything is what made me take a 1 year break. I'm the kinda guy where if it's not viable to clear all content while using units you like, it's just not worth playing the game. And for a long time, it was viable to do that-- eventually the game powercrept too much and you're left with 3 options 1. Use whatever units the game deigns to give you items for, regardless of whether you like them. 2. Whale 3. Skip the high level content. I'm sorta at this weird spot where I can effortlessly clear 160 and lower content, and the 180+ content is too difficult without making concessions. So 3 doesn't really have much point-- just a mindless grind game-- I can play Brave Exvius if I wanna do that. 2 I'm just against on principle at this point-- like I said I would've been happy to throw $85 at the game if I got Tidus or Rikku's USB. I did the probabilities and the odds favored me getting at least one of the two. And yeah, 1 just isn't fun to me. Easier to just bail. There are plenty of good games out there that I don't really need to waste my time with this one. --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

Knowledge and proficiency are the two walls there moreso than legality. Like, I don't know the exact specifics but I do know from a gun enthusiast friend that you can do this kinda stuff without buying any illegal or even suspicious parts. But getting the basic armory as your start point before the modifications is a big deal. I do think you'd have overall a lot less people able to shoot up places, simply because there aren't a lot of Walter Whites in the real world. Not a ton of overlap between the amount of guts/connections for that amount of criminal activity, proficiency to illegally modify, and being mentally screwed up. Particularly because the latter directly runs at odds with the former two. --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

The typical response from gun rights activists is "if you control guns, only the criminals have guns" Which is actually something I sort of agree with. But dudes like this? Normal non-criminal people who just snap? If he had to go through criminal channels to get his guns, he would've been much much more likely to fail to attain those weapons, I feel. Most "crazy" people aren't really anything that resembles courageous and would likely be walled off well before obtaining an armory. I guess what I'm saying is I trust criminals more than the mad. And on the plus side, you put stronger gun control in place the more cowardly criminals, of which there are many (and who are frankly probably some of the more dangerous to have a gun since opening fire is an easy panic reaction), are getting walled out as well. --- No problem! But that's precisely why I have no patience for the shitty gacha in this game on my return tour. I should have more to show for 300 mythril and a free 30 draw than a dated SSB for a character I like, and an OSB for a character I like but wasn't drawing for cause he doesn't really fit into my team compositions, and some armor with good STATZ. It's not that I know it can't get worse. It's that I don't feel like putting the effort in to continue to play this game like some sorta battered woman syndrome victim hoping things will get better with future pulls I grind out, nor do I feel this game is worth hundreds of bucks to enjoy. --- No problem! With it, we'll see whether we see an actual live instance of Record Keeper losing $85.99(++) cause of their ass gacha or not, cause if I get Rikku's claws I get a Leviathan, do the gem exclusive draw and save the remainder for 100 gem draws. A lot of Zelda's gameplay is in puzzle type stuff, which while it can be fun doesn't really sell me on the character-- it's all about control for me there. Combat for Link is generally very basic stuff-- no potential for fun create-a-combos or anything, just stick and move for the most part. I guess he is well above average in Smash games as well though-- may have underrated him there. I do find myself playing Link more than a lot of characters which is especially telling considering he isn't really a favorite of mine as a character. --- No problem!
