- Vote from 0-10, use 5 as an average, decimals are okay. - Don't be lame and use alts or anything like that. - Only vote if you've played enough of the respective game to have a good feel for the character. This if of course subjective for the character so you'll have to use your own judgment. But if you played fifteen minutes of the game once, you probably don't know the character well enough. - Nominations are closed until further notice.
This would have been like a 4 or 5 once upon a time. After 7 years of people thinking my name is a reference to him, however, my hate for him has grown and now there is only one score I can give him.
0/10.

Joke aside, I like him a lot, but his plot relevance and gameplay usefulness hinder him a lot here. A cool design only gets you that far. Let's go with...
7.5/10

6/10. Is pretty neat storyline wise... right up until after Cosmo Canyon when he just seems to lose relevance to the plot. Battle hes just okay. Loses a small bit of score for being reduced to Cait's Steed in AC.

A staple formula for FF villains: "They only do this, but lets kill them anyway!!!"
Eh. Not very relevant, but when he is relevant he's a bit of a dolt. "My father is a coward oh wait he's actually a hero awesome!" I mean some of this is Bugenhagen's fault for keeping this is a secret for god-knows-how-long but still. Anyway, I don't want to punish Red tooo much for this (his design is cool!) but it is one of the biggest things about him and it's bad.

He's cool. Kinda always liked the "initial 5" party of Cloud, Barret, Tifa, Aerith, and Red XIII. He rounded out the crew nicely, especially in light of where and how he was introduced.
Great character IMO. Interesting backstory, good intro to the game, good gameplay. He was always in my party. Its a shame he kind of got forgotten about in Advent Children though.
7/10 I liked him and when you get him in the beginning he's fun to use but then he loses his purpose in battle so I usually ditch him by late Disc 2 and completely in three for Cid and Vincent.

I'm not super keen on Red XIII, but he does have some pretty good development and motivations. Some genuine tear jerker moments too near the end of the game. I hated using him in battle though.
SuperAngelo128 posted... also when are ye opening noms
I won't be. My part is done here once I finish out the list. Anyone is free to take the reins after should they want to continue this day to day series. ---
