Yeah Sheamus isn't really above it anymore. He's basically turned into a Dolph Ziggler or a Jack Swagger WHC-- just took longer for it to sink in than it did with them.

More than anything for me Leblanc needs fixing because she's not tricky enough. I'd love her silence nuke be replaced with something that serves a more interesting purpose than nuking things
I mean, she's not all bad at least her passive and teleport are tricky-- at least she tries unlike Swain whose "master tactics" involve activating the ult and running in. Not my best work, but TOURNAMENT HYPE...? I may do another show today just to catch up to Tom timeline wise.
Showtime: Sting comes out and says we'll be having a 32 entrant tournament to decide the vacant TNA title, which will conclude at Turning Point-- he makes sure to make many bad puns with the word Turning Point during the interview. A graphic of the tournament comes on the screen.  Tazz makes fun of the graphic for looking bad and wonders why Sting couldn't even remove the "SAMPLE" from the bracket he ripped off. Sting also says he's tired of people having jobs and not doing anything-- if Karen Jarrett doesn't win the next match, she's fired! (85)Daffney still wearing Sting cosplay attire squashes Karen Jarrett in a hardcore match by beating her down with a bat. (21) Eric Bischoff comes out to fire her-- Daffney reminds him that she's the boss of the show, not him-- Sting reminds them both that he's the boss and that he'll get to Bischoff later. (42) An elated Ric Flair d. Christy Hemme to advance as he struts throughout the match and says he's still got it. (58) Austin Aries d. Crimson to retain after a Glacier promo video hyping his debut starts playing in the middle of the match and Crimson gets counted out again. (62) Suicide is talking to Glacier backstage about his upcoming debut video-- Crimson attacks them both! (37) (Suicide's masked hero gimmick gets 84) RVD d. Jerry Lynn to advance (82) (RVD's Unique Charismatic gimmick) Anarquia and Hernandez are in the ring, and Hernandez calls out Beer Money and says they'll beat them to show they're legit tag champs much to Anarquia's Chagrin. (38) Beer Money d. LAX for the titles after Hernandez refuses to enter the ring and hits Anarquia with a Border Toss. He says the Mexican supremacist thing was played out 5 years ago and he's going to enter a career in medicine. (56) Ric Flair is backstage, trying to hype himself up for his match next week. Orlando Jordan wearing caution tape appears in the mirror and says Ric Flair is not long for this world... his time is running out and that Orlando has come for him... after some arguing... the camera pans out to show that no one else is in the room and Ric Flair is talking to himself... (67) AJ Styles d. Robbie E to advance (69) Devon is backstage-- he swears vengeance on Pope for hurting his sons! His sons claim they don't care and that Devon should calm down... when Pope slams into the lot of them with a bicycle! He's sent flying and runs off the screen like a madman (57) Bully Ray d. Alex Shelley to advance (72) Samoa Joe shows up to Sting's office and demands he be put in the bracket. Sting things about it, and says he can take Jeff Hardy's spot if he beats him tonight! (65) Joe ambushes Hardy backstage and brutally assaults his leg with a chair. The audience boos and Joe turns heel! (52) Jeff Hardy d. Joe because Joe's INTENSITY gets him dqed though the grounds are sketchy at best (73) Sting comes out and says because Joe couldn't even beat Hardy after a pre-match assault he's useless, so he's fired too! Joe mauls a ref and gives Sting the INTENSE look. (74) 67 - Success! -- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

Jericho vs Shawn Michaels MVP vs Matt Hardy Jericho vs Dean Malenko Trish Stratus vs Mickie James I'm not sure whether I like that last one so much because it was a woman's storyline and those are never good and this managed to be good in spite of it but it's in the running for the best angle I can think of that didn't have its legs cut out from under it, didn't turn stupid, and wasn't sent rolling for so damn long you got sick of it. Most of my favorites are a victim of one of those so... I have a feeling older stuff would do better as far as not getting their legs cut out/overdone but I can't in good faith vote those cause my PPV/product viewership pre-1996 is spotty enough that I'm not sure I got the whole gist of the feuds. -- No problem! You referred to Dante as lower level for no real reason (seriously, you think someone is going to do a headbutt/pulverize combo when they're leading off by heal with mistake?), so I did the same to you. I thought it was funny.
In any case I'm half being serious even outside the jab. You can play a good Alistar without mastering that combo at most ELOs, yours and mine included.
