You can't really say trump got more popular in the 2020 election. Voter turnout as a whole was 6.5% higher than in 2016, a lot of people were granted easier access to voting because of mail in ballots.

Biden got 14 million more votes than Hillary did. Everything was up in 2020, this doesn't necessarily mean that Trump was actually more popular, and things like most Trump backed candidates did terrible in the midterms, of which there was no red wave, and outside of NYs house districts, they didn't seem to gain much ground anywhere(and one of those winners is George Santos, who is kind of in his own world of legal troubles, because he is a serial liar perhaps even more so than Donald)

The other day I went to a casino and had to go to the bathroom twice, and each stall i picked the toilet was pooey as all get out.

Now, it's rude and disgusting to not flush the toilet, but the problem was, these were automatic toilets, so most people leave the stall and if it doesn't flush oh well not their problem. Under the sensor is a little switch to flush. to me it was so satisfying to see the toilet clean.

However in this instance, the seats themselves were clean...if there is one stall and I need to poop, I am using a bunch of TP to clean it. If there is any other stall I will move, because cleaning up takes more effort than pressing a switch the flush the toilet.

Biden is more popular than trump. These lawsuits aren't doing trump many favors outside of his own base going harder for him, which doesn't matter.

The real kicker is just how RFK jr impacts things. His polling is historic for a 3rd party candidate, so we'll see what he does. I feel like that would siphon more votes out of the republican side(akin to Ross Perot 30 years ago) but I do not know much about the guy.

religion never had a large part in my life outside of the one week of vacation bible school every summer until I was like 11 or 12(I liked that because food and games). The disconnect for me came from learning things in church(when i rarely went, like VBS) but my school teachers never mentioning it. I figured if I don't learn this stuff in school, it must not matter that much.

That and I distinctly remember my friend a year older than me arguing with the one counselor about how we came from monkeys at VBS once, and that dude was quite angry. I didn't understand any of it, at all, that my friend was on to. But perhaps that swayed me as well, actually seeing some dissent(even if wrong) in person.

Boy am I glad I never got into it. To me, a waste of time. Life give me enough fullfillment without worrying about a god or being heavenly.

His thumbnails look stupid, yes, but he has spend an absurd number of hours studying youtube, so he knows what works.

I've seen a few handfuls of Mr. Beast videos and I generally like him. If you watch interviews with him he seems very business oriented. Before he got big he spent all day making, editing and talking about youtube videos. His first big break, as far as I can tell, is the video where he counts to one million or some other large number in one sitting. The idea itself is stupid, yes, but I enjoyed a click through to see how tired he gets and how he reacts when he is finally done. Youtube is stupid and unpredictable but he knows what works.

I respect his work ethic and his charitable endevours. I've never given him a cent directly having never had Beast burger or any of his food or merch. I've seen like 20 of his videos throughout the last 5 or so years.

Complaining about him seems silly. If people are helped, I really don't care if he makes a video to advertise it.

The Oakland A's were really trying to become the worst team in modern MLB history but I don't think they quite got there as they started winning some games at least, even though they finished 50-112. At one point they had more games with 10+ runs given up than wins.

I feel bad for San Jose but can they become the worst modern team? Though I don't know what era "modern" would even be because I am not super familiar with hockey, but they need to outdo those 70s Washington Capitals teams, yeah?

Let's go.

I don't agree with a lot of protesting methods(however, being seen in part of the point) but the one thing I find stupid is people will see, say, and anti oil organization blocking a roadway and say "well, I might have supported their message but the way they are protesting means I won't". No, you wouldn't support their message if they were protesting in a different fashion, because all it takes is stuff besides the message to get you to be against it.

I don't like plastic bags and rarely use them. If I saw an anti plastic bag organization protesting in the streets I may disagree with that method, but it isn't going to make me disregard the message at hand: plastic bags are bad. I may not support a particular organization because of their tactics, but the message doesn't go away because of that, to me.

No, I think it is absurd to charge your kid rent. Helping out with utilities and bills is okay.

But I can't say. some 24 year olds are beginning a career or are at least trying. Some 24 year olds are lazy and have no job.

So, I guess I get it, but in general I don't like the idea. Some families could be poor and need that money to make rent, which is a necessity like chipping in for bills. If the parents dont need the money I feel like it's just harming their kid for no reason.

Against Me! and American Football.

Against Me! is awesome, but the nod goes to American Football because their first ST album is one of the all time classics. I listen to AM! a lot more because albums like Searching For a Former Clarity are up there, but nothing as legendary as AF's one album(and the other two are alright as well).

So....American Football

So I've been playing and when you're shameless using the editor you can just throw all logic out of the window.

I have given my team a billion dollars, however since I started in the 6th division of England, I couldn't sign the world class talent yet. But I did increase my reputation some, so I could sign players of talent 1-2 leagues higher than my own.

To date I've been a conservative spender with my transfers. Despite having unlimited money if I choose I do negotiate when i do these things, but I also know I can afford whatever.

There is a Chinese regen that really looks like a world class player. He is young, and had a great season last year. I noticed he is in my transfer pool, so while Fullham is unlikely to sell him, we'll see about that.

I ask Fullham what they'd let him go for. They respond saying "We won't sell no matter the price"

So, I offer them 225 million, perhaps more than the entire net worth of the entire Fullham club.

They immediately accept. In one action, I break the real life transfer fee record by 5 million, but this is the 2013 edition so back then the record was probably not much more than 100m.

I've actually gotten rid of players I no longer need before by agreeing to pay them the difference between their wage with me and their new team who is paying less. I incentivize players with $50,000+ bonuses per goal(no proof this actually does anything) scored.

My first season in the Premier League I finished 7th. Not as high as i'd have wanted but after 6 successive promotions, we with the big dawgs now. I did, however, manage to win the FA Cup, which was very unexpected because it was a 3-0 win over Manchester United who beat me all season and knocked me out of the Capital One Cup. This is the first trophy i've ever won, also, because back in the lower leagues I overperformed in the FA cup but didn't win(after all 500+ teams participate in it) and I made the FA trophy final once and lost(after winning like 20 straight games to a team I just beat the match prior).

Now it's time to show people I am not messing around. I signed my Brazilian trio(because they are good and the one guy was sad being away from home so I snagged two of his friends to come hang out), this Chinese stud, then I'm going after this one left midfielder(who can also play nearly every position in midfield in some capacity) who I think has nice calves and is a strong hard worker.
