So, ever since she got my phone number again after she dropped her phone in the toilet I haven't gotten much back.

She seemed super excited to see me and get my phone number again after her phone died and she lost all of her numbers when i saw her in person. That was cool. she even gave me a high five when she left the store that day.

I've tried twice now to follow up on doing the thing she said we could totally do(hang out/meet her pets) and I've been ignored each time. The one time I got no response, but like 4-5 hours later she asks me if I'm into Hamilton....

I've been asking her how her days are going in hopes to spur on some conversation like we had the first few days after the initial haircut(where we'd talk for hours off and on) before she dropped her phone in a toilet and I'm not getting much in return.

I know for a fact I will still see her in the store, so I'm going to actually size up the situation when I see her again but I don't really feel like continuing here at the moment.

Ultimately I am just going to remain cool and wait until I see her in person again and ask about hanging out. I feel like she was up to 11 about me before she dropped her phone in a toilet, and she seems all about me in person(You don't have to assert you need my phone number again, after all), but via text message I'm just not really getting a whole lot and it's kinda making me wonder why i'm even bothering. Even if, say, I misinterpreted her messages of "always wanting to be my friend" and "always hoping i'd see you in the store", i'd still actually be fine with making a new friend out of this even if it leads nowhere. But I'm hardly getting anything back in my attempts to talk to her, so....

She also doesn't cut hair at a salon right now and she came over my house to do it. The only way I have to contact her is her cell phone number.

But I'm thinking even though it sucks you just gotta wait. She isn't ghosting me or being weird. I mean, she could have just lost her phone. She has no way to contact me outside of my phone number and my job, but I really don't want to see her in there even if it would make my day. She comes in once in a while and buys 3-6 captain morgan mini bottles every time. You would love to think that hey maybe she drinks once in a while and just likes captain morgan a lot and buys the mini bottles every time to portion out what they drink. You would, but that is almost never the case. It usually is a sign of a problem to some degree. One day fairly recently she came in twice within two hours to buy some mini bottles, and that is never a good sign.

Overall I am bummed out but I ain't worrying on my end, but I hope she is safe and all it is is her losing her phone or something.

I'm just assuming its something normal like she lost her phone, is busy, forgetful, whatever. It just makes me a little sad because I just want to talk to her, because that made me feel good.

But this has all happened in under a week, so devils advocate doesn't seem to even apply. I highly doubt this person who just days ago was extremely excited to hang out would lose interest that quick. She literally said she has wanted to become friends with me for the longest time, so there is no way she isn't still totally into me.

Ultimately I just gotta wait but I feel like I got something I've been waiting years for and...yet more waiting. Oh well. Just gotta be normal, but unlike other, less natural "crushes" and things I am not angry at all at not having my messages replied to. I am actually curious if she is doing okay.

Okay, so this new girl and i have been getting along pretty well so far, but something has happened and I don't know what to do.

On tuesday, she mentioned how she was in the store and didn't see me, but I was working at a different store. I then said she can keep coming into the store in hopes she might see me but we should just hang out so she wouldn't be disappointed. She agreed! We didnt set an actual day or time, but we talked a lot that evening via text message.

And...that's it. tuesday evening, we talked a lot. I've sent her a few messages since then and no reply, nothing.

I'm feeling kinda sad, because I would very much like to talk to her. I am certain this has nothing to do with me. It could be something stupid like maybe she lost her phone or couldn't pay her bill or something, or maybe she isn't doing okay or something else, or maybe she is just forgetful at responding to things. I can't say.

I'm not worried she doesn't want to talk to me, because I don't think for a second that's the case since she was being super extra with me ever since she cut my hair and has had nothing but positive things to say about me(and me, likewise). However, its been 3 days, going on 4 here without any contact...and I don't know what's going on. I haven't been blowing up her phone, just a couple of messages asking how she is doing, and one asking her if she wanted to hang out with some coworkers of mine tomorrow night. She also hasn't been in the store since Tuesday, when I wasn't there(but that is a good thing I think).

It would totally be fitting for the first girl i've ever really had this kind of good connection with to have died in a fiery car crash...

I figured to get 115 volts I needed to slide the switch over to the left. Turns out if it says 115 its at 115

I am a moron. I did fuck with the voltage switch, but why it wasnt working is due to my own moron ass not knowing how to read the swtich.

When I move it from side to side it either says 220 or 115. I thought, when it said 115, I needed to move it over to go to 115, as if there was a directional arrow(there wasn't). turns out if the switch says 115 that is the one chosen.

So we are good. I am an idiot. I am closing this shit 'cause i feel dumb.

Okay so TURN OF EVENTS.

I havent seen the woman in the OP since, but I consider that a good thing because the less time people spend buying and consuming alcohol, the better. She'll be back. Sadly they all come back.

However, as I said in my last post, I did get the phone number of a customer who is a hair stylist, and today she came over and cut my hair and I think she is legitimately interested in me.

After I paid her, she gave me a huge squeeze hug, and asked me to text her. not about hair, just anything. she said this like 3 times. And then she also said we were friends now. This was all done in kind of a normal way and not an annoying way.

Then about two hours later before I could message her, she sent me a message and we've been talking off and on ever since.

She's been saying some awfully suspect things such as "I was always hoping to see you in the liquor store and not just because I forgot my ID" (the context here is that if I know factually how old somebody is I can serve them even if they are 21 and look 12. I know she is over age from carding her in the past. One day she forgot her ID and another clerk waiting on her asked her for it, and i refused to vouch for her, as I am not allowed. She wasn't being rude and understood.)

So she definitely wanted to see me at work, and not just because she doesn't need ID(with me) if she forgets it. She also said she knew I was an interesting person and knew we had stuff in common despite me not recalling having told her about any or many of my interests before. Just a lot of things I don't feel like you'd mention to somebody day ONE of being friends. Which is like, friends don't have a day 1? Like you never say to somebody "lets be friends". there may be a day 1, like, the first time you met somewhere, but never an actual utterance of the words "we are friends now" like I had today.

So, overall, I feel like THIS has a chance of working out to some degree. There seems like legitimate interest here. I've been a little playful back but have not really made my move. Which is to say I have ZERO doubt if I asked to hang out and do something the answer would definitely be what when and where

I've seen two separate people post "Trump 2-0 vs the swamp!" on facebook but they don't realize...

He LOST the superbowl to wet paper bag Joe Biden, there was no widespread election fraud enough to overturn the election like he claims, and every legal challenge or other type of challenge(such as the "Kill Pence" crowd storming the Capital) has been a complete embarassment.

They also don't seem to notice or care he only got "exonerated" not because of the evidence, but the fact each time there were enough R votes to acquit. You can say "well, duh, he isn't guilty" but when half or more of the jury consists of your friends....you didn't get off because you were innocent, you just had enough people already on your side.

Overall, the GOP realizes the loony trump side of their party is sizeable enough that they can't discount them. This *should* be damaging to the GOP overall in a serious way, and it'll be kinda comical to see.

I don't like either method honestly. I kinda don't like shaving in general because the experience isnt fun, but I also don't like beards so it must be done.

However, I have been growing a mustache since July, so when I am not lazy I rock that and go clean shaven otherwise. I generally have a mustache, but July is when I last trimmed it off and haven't touched it since, making this probably the longest stache i've ever had since I started rocking one almost 10 years ago at this point.
