so, i bought this pen and i think i got shipped a knockoff.

i have a model that i know is real that is the same style as this one and it has an engraved P at the top of the pen and weights ten whole grams heavier than this one i just got.

That and the lettering on the body can barely be seen. deep blue background with a barely able to be seen black/grey lettering.

this seems fake so im going to return it and select something else from another seller.

heres the pop reports of pennies from one grading service.

If there is a 68+(pretty might 68.5) or 69- 70 quality 2017 penny out there cool, but nobody has found one and submitted it for grading. If you have the highest example of a coin, even a 2017 penny, the sky is the limit on how much it could sell at auction.

Even with a few grades left to spare, its not been done yet. It might be impossible but this is kind of what people are looking for. the one coin that would grade 67/68/69/70 depending on what the pop report says. they would easily make thousands.

So the 2018 penny is rolling out now and somebody bought the first reported sale of a $25 box for around 500...you can go to the bank and get a box no problem, but idk what banks have these in yet.

Now it isnt purely "gotta have it before everybody else" like preordering a game and spending extra $$$ to play it a few days before general public.

people want to crack these open and see if they find any errors or anything, but also they want virgin uncirculated rolls to see if they can find some examples that would grade close to 70(max), which is tough to do. The higher the grade, the more it sells for. Even a box of 2,500 brand new pennies likely might not have one grading above a 67. just because of the nature of it. in 2017 the mint used an experimental wash that left bubble spots on a lot of coins...but even the nature of how they're made. thousands of coins being minted at once, banging up against eachother and whatnot.

so for the next few days(dont quote me), if you an go to the bank and get a box of all brand new rolls of 2018 pennies might be worth it to flip it for some extra cash. Not 500 dollars though, that was the first reported ebay sale. but 50 bucks for 25 bucks in cents wouldnt be that outlandish.

well yeah i just wanted to make it known i dont think this pen could withstand endurance of that magnitude.

but another thing is the ink it comes with, which I bought refills in blue and red since it comes with black.

the ink glides across the paper. glides like a butterfly. It also doesnt smear much if at all. The only time it smears is if I write something and immediately rub the paper. throughout normal writing it never does(though i am not left handed and dont have horrible page smear syndrome so maybe it isnt so good for the flander-esque of us)

well i like my current pen, but i never end up writing more than a few sentences at a time. so for writing something long, like pages of a novel(or whatever) it could get tiring, because it is heavy(but not super heavy but definitely solidheavy) and the grip is metal.

in addition no greasy hands. there really isnt any specific grip material, it is just metal. but it holds very well.

man i cant tell what any of these emojis are without copying them into google. too damn small.
