To be fair my mom and I went in on it, and we went on a trip for free because of it.

But what you can do is put bills on it. rent, utilities, etc. There is usually a fee associated with paying these types of things with a credit card but I don' think it'll eclipse the bonus.

I got a chase sapphire reserve and while it has a $95 a year fee, they gave me a 1,000 dollar bonus when I signed up and spent 3,000 in 3 months(which I was able to do without spending extra on stupid stuff). That is also on top of the rewards it already gives you when you spend.

So yeah, cards with an annual fee you just need to figure out how to get your money's worth out of them. Another bonus on this card is a $50 a year hotel credit. So as long as you stay in a hotel one day a year, you get your annual fee essentially reduced to $45

As for design I love the orange $10 the most. I like brand new tens because they looks so shiny and nice.

My team is in the conference north, the lowest league in England you can play in this game. My team is the best in the league, as I am 10 points clear in first place at the time of the FA trophy final.

Now, this isn't the FA cup, but the FA trophy, available to teams in the 5th to 8th level of the English football pyramid.

Anyways, on to the match.

Riding a 15+ game unbeaten streak, I head into the FA trophy final vs. Tamworth.

In the second minute, I score.

NOTHING ELSE HAPPENS UNTIL

the 90th+1 minute, they score tying it up. A cross came in and was misread by my normally ironclad star centre back and was put in the net.

In the 85th minute I subbed in a prospect striker because I figured I'd close the game out and wanted him to make his first senior appearance be in the FA trophy final.

Nothing happens in extra time, so we go to penalties.

Everybody makes their penalty, until the 5th round said prospect comes up to kick...and hits the side post. Tamworth score on their turn and win it all.

This is probably what I get for cheating and giving my team a billion dollars.

I can't say for other sports, but it isn't that unusual for soccer players to collapse on the pitch. It isn't so common it happens every day, but it is common enough it isn't really a new event to have cropped up after the covid vaccine was introduced.

People are going to use this as fire to say that vaccines caused this, because one of the narratives to come out for a while, even before Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field is that the COVID vaccines cause heart problems.

There is likely going to still be minimal proof linking the two, but each case of heart problems, especially high profile ones, will just make these people go "I was right" just because people are having heart problems that are being reported. Even now, reading one comment section on youtube you have people going "Do you believe us now?" even though there is no actual proof linking the two. The more people who get heart problems the more fuel to their fire.

I agree with some parts of it but not all. People shouldn't be bullied for their weight, no matter what, and we all realize a lot of stuff is actually toxic but framed as wanting to help people when that clearly isn't it.

It is possible to be fat and healthy of course with exercise. But some people are just really fat and not healthy at all and they should be encouraged to lose weight(in an actual positive way).

The 6th and final question on the interview sheet for prospective Commonwealth employees is: Why do you want to work for <company name> and why do you feel you are the best candidate for this job?

The first part he said something about customer service but for the second part he said "well, i dunno, i'm just perfect!"

I decided to give him the job over the other two candidates, mainly because both of those people wanted to work this in addition to their current job and this person just wants to work here.

When I called him back with the offer I said "well, you said you were perfect, huh? alrighty then, you still want the job?"

The guy(23 year old) seemed like a good person, but you cannot deny somebody proclaiming they are perfect like that could be a red flag. This will either work out fine OR blow up in my face.

Only time will tell.

Eh, that makes sense. In the negative reviews for certain things it seems like the internet hate machine latches onto something(that usually is bad in the first place but not worst of all time - of course this is all subjective) and people who didn't see it and never would give it a low rating.

I guess if 10,000 people saw this movie and like it enough to give it a perfect or near perfect score, that isn't really brigading. That does make sense. But it does clash with having a user score higher than movies that critics and fans alike would be willing to call the best ever, like The Godfather. But that's kinda why user reviews are pointless.

I've never heard of it and I think the best move is probably to stop talking about it and let it die in the darkness.

I haven't seen the movie, but it does deal with child trafficking which is a serious issue(and likely has been throughout all of recorded human history). This isn't the kind of movie, to me, people need to boycott and let it die(Unlike the Matt Walsh trans documentary that 'THEY DIDN'T WANT YOU TO SEE' that came out a while ago).

But the super fans of this movie are seriously delusional. this isn't likely to have any noticeable effect on child trafficking. I can tell, because the comments at least to the youtube trailer all sound like keyboard warriors who I couldn't picture actually doing anything noticeable to end child trafficking except donating to a church. People are hailing this as the most important film of all time, when it just isn't. The user score was obviously highjacked on rotten tomatoes, the critic score is mid 70s.

Child trafficking is bad, but the people in these comment sections are just cringe as heck if you ask me.

It has a 100%, 4.9/5 user review score on rotten tomatoes. Quite obviously bumped up by brigading, just the inverse of a movie thats simply "regular" bad getting the worst user review scores ever.

This seems like the kind of movie wherein if you don't watch it or watched it and didn't like it some people would call you a secret groomer.

Lagvulin is good. I had a Lagvulin(I forget which kind) at one point but it got drank.

At some point, I realized just how much my company sucks(Control/state store state), so I just stopped drinking it as much. I buy things when I actually get interesting and when shit goes on good sale or clearance. and my best friend drinks from some of these bottles, but at some point I switched to beer...so there we go.

Beer is actually more expensive in a way(talking about "craft" beer and not like a case of Miller Lite for $12.99), because I can crush a 4 pack in like 2 days, but these bottles, while more expensive, would last longer if I was drinking to get a good feeling and no more(so like 1-3 drinks). I don't know...
