But yeah I have the capital one venture card with 2x points on travel, but i no longer need the travel points so im thinking strictly cash back.

Im thinking:

capital one quicksilver. 1.5% cash back everywhere, and as a bonus if I spend $500 in 3 months I get $150 for free...so like thats easy as hell to get and free money.

Citi double cash...1% cash back and 1% when you pay, so essentially 2% everywhere for me

But I was looking into my banks line of credit cards and one Intrigues me.

4% back on gas
3% on dining(including fast food)
2% back on groceries
1% everywhere else

You dont need to choose these categories or sign up or track or anything its just the fixed tier you get every purchase. So I dont need to go "oh, this month I need to eat out cause cash back" I can just eat out as I do and get 3% every time. No sign up bonuses, but this

should scale down to higher than 2% like that Citi card if I buy everything with it.

Numismatics is kinda niche...I think it was more popular back in the day, but as long as physical currency is being traded(which I dont forsee dying off for a long while), the hobby will exist.

One subset of Numismatics is bill hunting like I engage in. I look for all different kinds of stuff...old bills, fancy serial numbers, errors, web notes, silver certificates.

So like I agree with it being weird in a way, because most people regard money as "can be exchanged for goods and services" like Homer's brain said. However it isnt like my hobby is so niche im that one guy ya know.

At one point I thought his mom was throwing my guitar away so i went there in the middle of the night to steal it from the trash. so close, yet so far.

Turns out the guitar was actually being thrown out by their neighbors who share their driveway so now i have a third guitar.

Why have I been missing this game since may of this year?

It turns out that when you get arrested like my friend was(and my console, game, guitars, instruments were over his house), thats it, youre done. Removed from society. I didnt talk to him for like 2-3 months and never bothered to get it back because theres far more important matters at hand, even though ive been dying this whole time without guitar band.

Today I finally made arrangements with his mom to go get it, and now its mine. However my usb stick with the custom songs is no longer there so I need another one but otherwise...

I got it back! I get so addicted to this game especially with custom songs, pretty much an unlimited investment. I just picked it up after being away, and when i stopped playing I was passable on expert guitar/bass. could finish most of the songs in the game but the custom songs I was way worse at because on average they are rougher. But...playing it now, and...I'm no so bad. rusty, but I could become way better because when you take time off and you come back sometimes you kick ass.

But first, is there a generally preferred way to hit the guitar keys? top or bottom of neck? I prefer bottom but if I need to re-learn the top if people say its actually better i better do it now

There's this old guy we call grandpa(70s/80s) who comes in every day and gets a pint of Jim Beam Kentucky Straight. I don't think he has been a lifelong drinker or anything, but every single day for i dont know how long. I think when his wife died he didnt know what to do and took to drinking.

Anyways...he didn't come in for a month or two, and we were all worried and thought he might be dead. We have no way to contact him, and while he is a cool customer and nice gentleman we dont actually know him.

But then one day last week I see his car on the curb, and go to open the door for him(heavy doors+cane dont mix well). I greet him and everything, but something has changed.

He is now up to a 750Ml of Jim a day. that's....not good. I asked my coworkers and they told me he was in the hospital for a bit, now he is out, and they did notice he is buying a 750 rather than a pint(375) almost every day(but clearly he is consuming way more), but they didn't know why. He doesn't look significantly worse, but at his age this isn't good.

There's nothing I can do about it because as far as I am concerned I sell it to him and what he does when he leaves is none of my business.

I sell a lot of shit to a lot of every day regulars, but this is the first one I think I am actually seeing die in real time. While this isn't my problem, it is still sad. I've never been addicted to alcohol and can drink at my own leisure, but some advice i saw on reddit one time about alcoholism stuck with me: "Get the fuck out NOW"
