Feels like almost everybody is depressed in some way. Or has anger issues

Yep. Diagnosed, scarred, and all.

Yeah.

I am not. I am generally a happy person.

I actually attribute most of this, for me, growing up with minimal friends until like the last two years of high school, because i had a lot of time to get acquinted with myself, and it turns out I like my self.

Everything isn't perfect but I do just fine. I feel for the people who do get depressed, but I haven't felt that bad in a while. But it has happened before, but it was never clinical, and always just feeling bad about a life event(girls, school, etc)

You can like your own company and still be depressed. Didn't make many friends myself.

Cant say as I am. I have suffered with depression in the past but not for a a long time.

Diagnosed and fighting it since I was 6 years old, but I'm pretty content with hitting a consistent post-depression.

I figure depression is kinda mysterious so it could happen to anybody in any situation.

Yes but not like MDD or anything like that, which I struggled with for most of my life and only got a grip on in the past few years. I've just been pretty damn down because my nephew killed himself a few weeks ago.

I'm definitely not the most happy-go-lucky person but I'm not miserable either.

I've got little hope for the future, both on a personal level and society in general, but I'm content with where I am in life and can still find enjoyment in some things.

Not really.

It's always situational and not chemical with me when it comes to depression, and things have been really good for awhile.

my condolences. It doesnt get easier, you simply learn to live without those we lose. Focus on the good history, even glamorize the bad. And accept there are others who think of them at even higher rates, so do or do not carry the burden, and find time to share the memories although painful; their closest ones certainly care about details that you hang onto.

after one specific suicide I bought a beautiful eagle keychain, then it vanished. I never found it again. But it was so damn cool, just like all the people we lose to the rush of life.

Thank you. I'm sorry for the loss you've experienced that has left you with this wisdom to impart.
