Sleeping IS a tremendous waste of time, but you need it and 8 is the healthy average, and that's most important. --- How paralyzingly dull, boring and tedious! |

| RyoCaliente 02/08/18 10:18:48 PM #2 | I don't agree with worrying about the pacing for S2. I don't know a lot about Runaways plotlines, but I'd imagine S2 will finish the Jonah threat. S1 was essentially just real-long buildup of who are the characters. I like the characterization of the parents. In the comics they're apparently very one-note, which just doesn't work on current television I think. I just hope their goals weren't ONLY for their children but for the benefit of the world or something. --- How paralyzingly dull, boring and tedious! |

She probably should've been made a bit younger though, just to differentiate her from the others. I think the show's biggest problem is definitely its pacing, but I think it has enough potential to really become great, which I hope it'll achieve. I also don't really like Chase or Alex. S1 of Top Gear was kind of rough but I feel like it's moving more into the banter era already with S2. Preacher took me a while to get into in S1 but S2 has been amazing so far, really enjoying it. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. hasn't hooked me as much as S4 but it's enjoyable. Can't wait for Jessica Jones on March 8th. Also because I forgot to do it in the comics topic when it was relevant: Karolina > Nico > Molly > Gert > Chase > Alex --- How paralyzingly dull, boring and tedious! |

Wikis generally give quick information though, or very general info I've found. I like opening a GameFAQS guide and finding 3 ideal ways to level up depending on how you want to spec your character, for instance. Although it does depend on the age of the game a bit. Older games GameFAQS guides easily rule the roost. For modern games it's probably harder to find a nice and detailed guide so you would probably be better off following a guide then. All the early stuff with the cowboy and Odin Quincannon was so detached from everything and the entire show was kinda detached from having a real plot or a destination or something. I can totally understand where people come from when they talk about its pacing issues but I didn't care, I was so invested in the characters and what was going on. Still watching SHIELD, still not as much into it as I was into 4 but now that the gang's back together again and especially Fitz I'm pretty excited. Last episode was the best one so far imo as well. Also got started on Preacher S2, what a fantastic season opener. I hope it keeps this up because S1 was just too weird for me at times. --- How paralyzingly dull, boring and tedious! |
