But it's an Avengers film, so I'm sure it'll be enjoyable. People often critique Age of Ultron but I think it at least served the function of being a popcorn-flick well enough. --- How paralyzingly dull, boring and tedious! |

| RyoCaliente 10/03/17 12:54:10 PM #8 | I watched Inhumans...I didn't even think it was outright bad, but there are a lot of things wrong with it. Some actors are really not...amazing and it's put in an even starker contrast with Iwan Rheon there. Some of the writing is really poor, to an annoying sense: - A thing happens, and Black Bolt and Medusa walk away. Medusa says some things and ends with "I'm here if you want to talk about it". Black Bolt responds in sign language. Medusa replies with "You want to be alone...and think about it.". That's not how dialogues work! Nobody would respond to that in that way. The only reason Medusa says that is to let the audience know what Black Bolt said, which could just as easily have been solved with subtitles. - It also has some issues with the Royal Family not really coming across as terribly nice people, so it feels kind of hard to root for them. I'm still interested enough to see it progress, but, it'll have to do a lot to turn it around to must-watch. --- How paralyzingly dull, boring and tedious! |
