Just a reminder that KH II was released THIRTEEN years ago.

Also, I still hate the Toy Story costumes. Every world that the cast changes costumes generally has them be unique types (Merman, octopus, turtle - pumpkinhead, mummy, zombie,...) yet in Toy Story they're the exact same type.

I actually had this exact opposite thought for BBS

Thought the story was really, really good but found the game itself to be pretty boring

Mostly because the worlds they chose were ones that didn't really lend themselves to interesting design or action

And having the "Lilo & Stitch level" be just the inside of a solid grey spaceship was such a poor decision

It's my favorite of the spinoffs exactly because of the worlds. Fantasia was amazing (especially the boss fight against Chernabog, which should've been in a full console sequel imo), but Hunchback of Notre Dame and Tron: Legacy were both a lot of fun as well

I just don't care about the story, and all of the spinoffs have been built around the story.

There's things in this trailer I like so I'm hopeful that all the stuff I don't like is typical showoff-y trailer stuff, but there's a lot more style then substance in everything that's been shown of the game so far.

It's my favorite of the spinoffs exactly because of the worlds. Fantasia was amazing (especially the boss fight against Chernabog, which should've been in a full console sequel imo), but Hunchback of Notre Dame and Tron: Legacy were both a lot of fun as well

I think it's mostly because DDD actually brought back a sense of exploration and platforming to the worlds that was missing in the other spin-offs.

No, my excuse now is I don't think they're good. Never played DDD but the rest I gave a shot and...nope.

Someone once had the balls to tell me that "you can't judge BBS by just one playthrough", and that was when I gave up on these.

I can't see them not putting Lightning in, FFXIV is bound to have some representation too.

Why do you think any new FF characters will appear? The longer this series goes, the less and less they do with FF.

Less FF characters in the spin-offs doesn't necessarily mean there will be less FF characters in the next main title. They could just be taking the approach that they belong more in the numbered games and less in the side stories.
