It's good at causing status effects and little else. I'd forgotten how awful it is. The Encore/Leech Seed maneuver is risky - time it wrong and Jumpluff gets 2HKOed. And Heracross for instance is really difficult to get. I loved being able to use the Bug type without an actual shitty bug. I used Ampharos in Gold. The game is so easy you can beat it with anyone. (except for like a whole team of Wobbuffets.
