Because of the Georgia governor race specifically. I already know it's linked to negative favorability in general, and that the link is substantially higher among overweight/obese women than men(although it still is a disadvantage for men) but I can't find any quantifiable metric of how much of a polling disadvantage it causes for each respective demographic.

My opinion of the MCU as a whole right now is that it's kinda like fast food. You probably won't be blown away by it, but it tastes fine and it does the job. I know if I'm watching something from the franchise, it'll be a 6/10 at worst.

This is honestly the most succinct description of the current MCU to me.

What exactly (other than the law) is preventing people sharing a job/industry from coming together and collectively bargaining without a union? Is it just the protections of the union that are already codified into law? If those protections aren't being adhered to, why even bother? Why not simply collude on a nationwide scale regardless? There's no feasible way there's enough enforcement to prevent it.

From an ideological perspective, Collective bargaining shouldn't require a level of bureaucracy to take place in times of emergency. Conservatives want to get rid of unions, fine. Codify and protect collective bargaining among those sharing industries and allow for it to occur without official union organization.

Nah, there's plenty of anime that have very descriptive titles (I'm not saying they're on the level of Slime, just that they exist):

All of these are LN adaptations I think. And LN's are frequently Webnovel adaptations.(like with slime.)

And Webnovel adaptations are about as much professional prose as a CYOA is. Basically high end fan-fiction. So to attract readers they label it appropriately has always been my understanding.

What value do you see in yourself?

Follow up question, do you think it's fair for others to find value in you when you're unwilling to value yourself?

You have to do something about self-loathing before anything else can change. You can still take issue with yourself, or aspects of yourself, but it cannot be allowed define your existence.

Pride and positive reinforcement have value, even as an individual. Find things that make you less sad than normal. Identify why they make you feel even a little bit better. Then remind yourself, these are the things I can do. Even if it's something small, it matters in the grand scheme of self-recovery.

Hell, think of it as beating an addiction to self-hate at this point. Any action you can take that isn't self-hate should be viewed as a positive action and built off of from there.

I'm sorry that it's so tough for you, but I know that you are capable of this. As a passive observer and lurker, this is something you can accomplish

...but there's also like 3 OTHER mechanics the game also included. The N-gin space fight(which I sorta liked) and the Jetski levels(which I hate.) Pretty sure there's one other including the bike stages.

A remaster of this with some of the wonkier animal controls/bugs patched out would be great tbh.

It's wild to me that both Spyro and Crash followed the "just add more and more shit". Model for their sequels.

From skateboarding Spyro to Coco on a tiger, it's just sorta strange that both series went that route.

I feel like a lot of people on CE from a year and a half ago would be irate at their current selves and their actions.

That is, if they weren't empty shells filled by whatever outrage they're told to feel angry about most recently.

But that's their prerogative so whatever.

It's really cool that people can legally play these now without spending several hundreds of dollars on a physical copy.

This was my benchmark for "expensive PS1 RPG" so it'll be interesting to see how many more people get a chance to experience it now.

It's not like they weren't getting creative already though with red and blue. There's so much shared memory between assets such as the overworld map, items, and Pokemon that the game is incredibly easy to break in 100 different ways.

Have fun sharing Lance with Kanto. Koga too, so 2/5 of the final run is Kanto natives. At least the strongest trainer in the game is....also from Kanto.

tbf an original game that eventually became a commercial product would naturally get more attention than a romhack. A better comparison for B3313 would be Ben Drowned.

I feel like Ben Drowned leans too far into the creepypasta aspect and not enough into surrealism. It's really the surrealism that's the basis of the comparison here in my mind.

But yeah, given that this uses licensed Nintendo assets, there's no hope for any greater release than what it was given.

B3313 is a romhack for Super Mario 64 that uses the newly found beta assets from the game to create a game that's similar to Super Mario 64 mechanically and in level design, but different in the sense that everything is broken and nothing makes sense, but in a very surreal sense.

It honestly feels like when you have a dream of a location that you know in real life, but everything is a bit off, or places exist that they don't in real life.

Bake him away, toys.

It's the best surreal "horror" game/romhack I've played in forever, and the soundtrack is legitimately perfect.

It's just an incredible first time experience and equally incredible to watch someone try to navigate. It makes me feel "things".

Kalos doesn't get any love from gamefreak so Sycamore gotta look out for himself.

The writing and the dialogue. It's hard to make something 30ish years old that's still funny today. The difference between good writing like in Earthbound and referential memes like Borderlands 2 is what gives a game comedic longevity.

Wild Arms 3 is fantastic.

I don't see ANYBODY defending ANYTHING The Last Airbender movie did. There was a huge fuss about those choices at the time as well. Even if the movie didn't suck eggs, it was doomed to fail.

Hypnospace Outlaw for me. The production of the whole thing is insane. It's the first Point and click game where I felt like they had really created their entire alternate world(by parodying 1999) for the entire thing.

Also, goddamn there's so much original music in the game and it all serves its intended purpose perfectly.

I think it's fucked up to posthumously alter a universe/world that someone created and won't watch the show because of that. There's plenty of things that Tolkien wrote that could have been adapted without doing so.

CEmen, give me your thoughts on the following. There is no wrong answer, I just want to know how people here think.

If someone was never taught or instructed on what you or I consider to be responsible behavior and they act in a socially unacceptable way, are they to be considered at fault? What is the appropriate action? Education or condemnation?

At what point does individual agency take hold, is it delayed depending on the upbringing and level of understanding of the individual?

What circumstances justify a lack of learned behaviors? For how long are they continued to be justified?

Are people to be faulted for the environments they were raised in not holding the same values as those held by the majority? Are those who raised them that way to be held responsible by society at large? How?

Is there an effective way to distinguish between the ignorant, those who act inappropriately because they don't know better, and the malicious, those who are aware that what they are doing is wrong but elect to do so anyways?

Is a leader, or a set of leaders who intentionally keep large demographics ignorant for the sake of personal enrichment and job security able to be held accountable in any way? What incentive would they have to change their methods without punitive action?

3's Flood level had such interesting design, ruined by the constant Cortana/Gravemind interruptions.

Even Floodgate has really cool horror vibe that they hadn't managed since Guilty Spark. 3 got the closest to figuring it all out, with some of the Flood/Covenant levels(you know the one) being legitimately great. It just sucks that Cortana is such a tempo breaker during the climax of that story.

Like 8 or so of Halo 2's campaign maps are good, there's just a lot of bad levels breaking up the concurrent good ones.

I don't believe it's impossible to make a good flood level. But it's sorta telling that they're consistently the worst levels among all 3 games in the trilogy.
