The best I can do without spoiling is this.

Hisoka is a singularly motivated character. Replace every typical want/need of a human being, be it hunger, sexual arousal, shelter, or fame and replace it with the cultivation and fighting of strong opponents.

Everything that isn't cultivating, or fighting a fully cultivated opponent is simply a distraction or obstacle in the way of that goal. He still experiences it, but it doesn't matter and isn't worth thinking about in his mind.

I remember missing Collette's flanoir scene each of my first two playthrough because her character annoyed me and I didn't realize that the choices for answers actually affected anything.

Collette still annoys the hell outta me tbh. At least for the first half of the game.

Extremely spiteful(Vengeful? It's vengeful if you act on your spite, right?), extremely rich republican who stirs up public anger to pump out IP after IP while using that money to indirectly target anybody who either slights him or is perceived to slight him while also funneling the funding into his various causes. And he's smart enough to keep himself out of the public eye while letting the mainstream republicans act like public stooges. You read interviews with reporters who manage to get an interview with him and they leave shook. He's apparently super charismatic in person and really good at leading the interview that's being conducted.(This is from witness accounts, not myself)

This new Citizen surveillance network he's pushing is a perfect example tbh. Capitalize on Police brutality to sell an incredibly easy citizen run product to produce and manage, when the legal pushback inevitably arrives, sell it to the highest bidder and start the process over again.

CE should be more aware of the intelligent repubs pulling the strings and less focused on the intentional faces of various buffooneries.

Being anti-gun is strictly a position of privilege.

You're telling somebody else, likely in a worse off situation than yourself that they do not require the ability to protect themselves with the same level of force that they would be exposed to if robbed/attacked. Which would be fine if either of us had faith in the police, but that's not the case.

Telling somebody to abandon the means with which to defend themselves while knowing the alternative isn't actually viable just screams soapbox preaching to me. You don't know the circumstances of other people and you shouldn't act like you do.

She's super smart and talented, just got married, bought a house. She has so much going for her....but the house is in the boonies, she's bored as fuck and started drinking heavily again to try to cope.

Both me and the husband are trying to coordinate to get her to check in, but it's hard not to damage somebodies pride in a situation like this and if we push too hard it's never gonna happen.

Anybody have experience with anything like this? I know rehab will help, she just lacks coping skills to deal with the boredom/depression she's dealing with on the day to day(This is by her own admission, not me judging her.)

I wouldn't say it's flawed. It's designed to be the first big roadblock you encounter. It served that purpose well in gen 1.

You're not wrong....but..

The 35 HP stat and the 70 speed stat honestly make me irrationally angry. Compared to something similar like Sandslash where they were trying to make a slightly faster ground type but it has a cool and functional stat spread.

I wouldn't hate it as much if it didn't always find it's way onto my randomizer teams.

Onix might have the most flawed stat spread in all of Pokemon tbh.

Godawful in randomizers too, you're probably gonna wind up with a Aerodactyl if you even manage to find a metal coat.

Literally everyone. Everyone could have predicted that an almost 2 hour long advertisement for the NBA and various WB/Disney properties would flop.

The original was a product of it's time. It wasn't a good movie, but a movie with great timing. It also got lucky coming after Who Framed Roger Rabbit, which opened a bunch of people up to the idea of a live action/cartoon crossover.

It would be like trying to make a sequel to flubber. Yeah, the original was a cult classic, but it was more a product of it's time than anything and you don't have Robin Williams to carry it anymore.

Lebron James is also almost as terrible as Elon Musk in regards to substituting money for talent. He's just not a good actor unless he's taking the piss in every scene he's in. Like a less talented John Cena of all things.

Listening the the audio drama's right now. Pretty nuts that *heavy post series spoilers" Sakura killed two other people by the last scene and neither of them is shown when they're going through the cast of characters. Both the Kangaroo Bartender and the Giraffe who was trying to become the radio hosts new partner. Makes it a lot more likely that Odokawa was going to live though, especially with the timeskip to the start of the new year for the last scene.

I can't fathom him not going to the police with the death of his bartender. Especially when he was already going to explain that he drove Sakura to the area where Mitsuya was found the night of the murder. Logically, with Sakura going on about her good luck, it felt like they were setting up for her downfall with how blatant they were about her repeating it on the call to her mom.

So yeah. Before watching the drama's I had it at 50/50 Odokawa living or dying. Now it feels closer to 90/10 in favor of him living.

I'm tired of listening to my old man ramble about the local weather person being wrong, let's gamify this shit and turn it into a new age way to gamble.

There has to be some sort of tool measuring accuracy prediction after the fact, wouldn't be that hard to come up with a scoring metric once you had the data available.

Then you split it into local and national leagues and go from there. Seemingly super easy and I don't have to worry about Brad on channel 5 missing the season because he tore his ACL.

Anyone know if a database like what I'm describing exists?

I think if I had to choose I'd say I think he lives just based on what we know. The worst part is, if he was killed at the end there's no payoff. Sakura will have killed two individuals whom the mob has connections with/is looking out for. There's no way that Mr. Tapir would let something like this slide, even if he was planning on retiring for good, Odokawa has enough friends in low places now that she would almost 100% not get away with a second murder.

Figured out the animal twist when Yano rapped about himself being a prickly like a porcupine. It was pretty clearly said in a non-literal sense and really solidified the fact that this was an Odokawa thing and not actually how reality was.

10/10 story
10/10 writing
10/10 music

It's my anime of the year no doubt and probably my favorite "Thing" i've watched all year.(Outside of the Hawks playoff run, but that was anime as fuck if I'm being honest.)

Why do you think those around you care about your pfp? I don't mean this as a personal attack, but I neve even look at users pfp or profile. If you're changing it, you should change it to whatever you want it to be. If you're interested in attempting to form a brand, you can follow the lead of all the twitter pfp's out there and commission someone to make a cartoon caricature of yourself. Honestly though, not enough people go abstract with their profile portraits.

Why restrict yourself at all though? You're modeling your pfp off of those you've seen and interacted with. If it means enough to you that you're this deep in thought over it why not take the time to find something truly representative of yourself and use that, regardless of the outward perception of it? Make a symbol, or a flag, or work on a logo that you feel is representative of you and build on that.
