I love the arm stretch on the first picture. It's so relatable to anyone who's owned a cat. The pre-clothing snag "pay attention to me" stretch.

Neo Twewy was an incredible game and easily a 9/10 for me.

It was also a game I literally cannot recommend to anyone who didn't play the first one and a game that prioritized polish over commercial success in a lot of ways.

It's honestly the first game I've played where while playing it I thought, "This game was designed to fail commercially."

She was a small cat. If I wasn't watching, she would get underneath the sink and immediately hop down into that hole. It's to the point where I had to keep the door barred and have a bunch of shit shoved in it just to keep her from getting in there. She would spend hours running around there, exploring.

Other than that, she was more cute than funny. She didn't really meow. She would open her mouth, but no sound would come out. She was more prone to clicking and chirping, and her growls sounded like she was moaning. She was a very endearing cat.

Phantom meows are adorable. She looks and sounded like she was absolutely adorable. And that she was 'mirin you pretty much everytime you were present with her in the room.

This morning I saw a fox in our backyard and I was reminded of the time I was eating breakfast looking out the back window. This was immediately after we took in BK, so she was hanging out on the back porch when she saw the fox. I got up scrambling to get her back inside. As soon as I got up, she sprinted faster than you would think an Obese animal was ever capable of and chased the fox clear out of the yard.

Just 4 weeks ago I passed out from pain in my back(getting MRI'd now) and I swear the only reason I came to was because of her pawing at my nose to wake me up.

She killed no fewer than 10 mice, innumerable roaches, and at least one Possum somehow. I miss my incredibly rotund predator so much. Yesterday was less rough, today has been brutal so far though.

My memories of her will not fade, nor will I allow them to. She was the best support cat I could have ever asked for in all my years alive.

Let's reminisce. Memories are more worthwhile when you can share them with others.

Especially after moving to Texas, she really didn't like the heat. RIP, she will be missed by everyone except for the cats.

My best friend had a shih tzu growing up. Was one of the funniest little dogs I've known. We would be sitting in the car in his drive way and hear what can only be described as "Star Wars alien" noises coming from him waiting for us to get out and see him.

She looks/sounds like she was a great dog. RIP.

I hope it gets cancelled and their stock tanks below 30 a share so I can get in on it

Also, the first game has set item drops, but the second games drops are random and pool based. It will vary depending on your stat distribution too. If you really want some cool rare drops, it's to your benefit to really lean into a primary stat with your build on the second game.

IE: if you build a hand to hand Jedi based around strength in the second game, you'll have a bunch of cool gauntlets added to the drop pool that you would likely never see otherwise.

In character creator. I'm kind of liking the idea of playing with a blaster instead of a lightsaber and I'm contemplating my point allocation. Is ranged weaponry in the game ass or something so I shouldn't bother?

Also, some general pointers without getting too specific? Like, "you need 41 charm to pass this important persuasion check halfway through the game" is too specific.

Blaster Jedi works, but in the first game it requires a specific Scoundrel into light side build to really do anything spectacular. Second game it has its own talent and skills related to it so it's much easier to do regardless of build.

Grief is natural, and it's part of the healing process. Not saying that your cat is replaceable, but you can fill that void with other things. I know that I'm going to eventually get another cat, because I want one. It's just a matter of when. Mittens was a huge part of my life for 15 years. She was mine. She sat in my lap, slept on me, and was always happy to see me. She never felt like she wanted anything from me but to be with me. I miss that. The other two cats won't fill that void. They don't react in the same way, or have the same mannerisms. They both hang out with my roommate more than me. They will happily accept food and pets, but ours is a more transactional relationship. Mittens only wanted to be with me.

Honestly, it's a really similar situation. I've had pets pass before, but they were our pets. BK was mine. She lasted close to four years after the diabetes diagnosis and the amount of times I was about to do something stupid and thought to myself, "Who would give her insulin shots if I fuck up" saved me from some stupid situations.

Mittens sounds like she was an incredible cat who made an incredible choice as to which person she belonged to. I hope that your memories of her are able to carry you through this patch of grief like I'm trying to do in my situation.

I'm going through the same thing right now. I'm so sorry. It fucking sucks. I realized this morning that she was basically the only thing in my life that consistently made me happy. I keep looking in all her spots out of habit and that only makes it worse. I'm not suicidal, but I'm genuinely wondering what I'm living for right now if nothing is going to make me happy. It just feels awful.

I don't know what to say in comfort because I'm fucked up too, but if you need to talk/reminisce then I'm here. Fucking sad, but here.

My favorite picture of when I took her in and she was at her fattest before we got her weight under control. She looks so goddamned indignant.

She's gone. Went peacefully from just the anesthetic. Here's to 12 years of the best cat/babysitter/chaperone I could have asked for during the stagnation of my life. The amount of times she provided support to me during times of crisis might be unknown to her, but it was never unappreciated. She was the best cat I've ever owned, and if there is an afterlife I can look forward to her being among the first things I see when I pass.

I'll miss you BK. Rest easy, you were all I could have ever wanted and more.

Found her abandoned when my neighbors moved and left her behind. She was obese and we got her back down to a more reasonable weight. She's been with me for 12 years. No idea how old she is but it's at least 13. She's been diabetic for almost four years. Took her to the vet 3 days ago. Heart failure. Kidney disease. Drained her abdomen of almost 180cc's of fluid.(3/4 of a cup) to try and make her last days more comfortable.

She's not drinking today. Not eating. Just staring at the wall, panting, miserable.

Made the call. It'll hopefully just feel like another insulin shot and she won't even know what hit her.

She was an incredible support animal. Pour one out for BK.

Everywhere's quality has gone down tbh. The facade is crumbling.

I always wonder how RimWorld would run on this, remember that it takes my high tier PC almost a minute to load the mod list, and then forget about it.

But man, portable Rimworld would be some appealing vibes for sure. Such a good "unwinding" game.

This is another reason why Alex Hirsch was a genius with planning Gravity Falls to only run for a couple of seasons. It's like walking into a job with your "You can't fire me I quit." moment already planned.

1st Gen: Suspense. Lavender town. Pokemon Labratory. Silph Co. all had really good mechanisms of building suspense. Most of the kids playing it were oblivious, but the music alone creates the best suspenseful vibe in the series.

2nd Gen: The Rival's arc. The kid of the boss(Silver) essentially raises himself into a somewhat respectable person by growing via his interactions with the outside world and his Pokemon. Still the best redemption arc the series has given players.

3rd Gen: The sense of exploration/discovery. Hell, I didn't even find the route to the left of Mount Pyre until my replay of the game. The whole Regi's quest line is insanely ambitious for a pokemon game and I remember downloading a brail alphabet on my dad's Blackberry as a wee lad to finishing deciphering the Regi's riddle

4th Gen: The Vibe. The vibe is fucking immaculate. Like a local Jazz station that you can only find on the radio between the hours of 1 to 4 AM. It also makes Cyrus' role as a "Vibe killer" fit a lot better. He's that meme of the dude in the corner of the party.

5th Gen: The Story. Between the two games, it's the only real attempt pokemon made at putting effort into it's story until gen 7 it feels like. It also kept the Gym leaders relevant outside of being arbitrary progress barometers and that was a huge step for the series(That was almost immediately undone.)

6th Gen: Youth. The game feels more like a coming of age story than the others. There's a distinction between the kids and adults highlighted by the frequent interactions with your group of "rivals" The game struggles in a lot of areas, but it does better than most in at least acknowledging that the main character is, in fact, a child setting out on a huge adventure.

7th Gen: Regional differentiation. Alola feels like a completely different region to everything that came before it. From Island hopping, to the frequency of "scenic shots" to the Alolan variants, it really felt like you were isolated from the rest of the world you had experienced in the other games as a result.

8th Gen: Encounters and catching in general. Dynamax raids suck without other players. But the wild area and the ease of catching what would previously be considered "Lategame mons" let people really go wild with their team building, in spite of there being fewer pokemon overall than previous generations. Having access to a larger pool of pokemon earlier in the story is just a good idea for a franchise that is based upon that same concept of differentiation of teambuilding among its playerbase.

And the overall ranking of the games(This includes the remakes or 4th gen would be higher)

It's outdated and it's laughably absurd that 2A nutjobs don't realize this.

You can't go on about how this is a strategy to produce more wage slaves and then suggest that the government wouldn't hesitate to decimate its own population. Those two things are in direct opposition to each other ideologically. Strictly speaking, even if those who support the 2A die while fighting the government it would still be a pyrrhic victory for the government/military because there's no way to maintain a functional economy while dealing with the domestic equivalent of "the troubles." There's also never a unified "surrender" ever on the table.

Acting like slaughtering your population en-masse is some sort of deterrent or solution is absolutely insane given the weight our federal government has clearly put on maintaining the economy above all else.

They might cut off their nose to spite their face, but they will probably (certainly)bleed out in the near future if they did.

You are correct. Me and my friend noticed this morning that there's a pretty well defined lump on my lower right back which can be felt from my back. Appointment is scheduled with my primary and I guess I'll go from there.

Game has a really solid first playthrough and pretty terrible TVHM and UVHM.

But if you're only playing through it once it's pretty good.

Lying down on the floor playing with my cat. Suddenly, intense back pain. Power through it while in hysteric levels of pain, sit in a chair for slight relief, realize I hear rushing water and wake up on the floor with my cat snagging my nostril with her claw(Thanks?) Felt.....a lot better when waking up after passing out, but still noticeable pain.

The entire soundtrack is great though. Literally no misses.

Sucks that people were so upset that it wasn't similar enough to FFT when it came out. It's a really good game with a couple of stupid glaring flaws(LAWS).

The balancing in BL1 is wack. That shock crystal cave you were in is basically required powerleveling for me nowadays because of how bad the earlygame chugs. Once you get to Old Haven stick around for a while and fuck some homies up. It's great XP and some of the most prolific weapon drops from baddies you can get. It's not the best farm in the game, because BL1 has a bunch of them in the DLC, but along the main story it's 100% the best place to turn the game from being a slog into something you might find more balanced and enjoyable without turning the difficulty into blended baby food.

It's less that and more that Smash is designed around casual balance and not competitive play. So it's much more likely that there's going to be a severely overpowered character than in most other competitive games.

It's like the problem Hearthstone deals with. Where it wants to be this wild, crazy, wacky cardgame, but if it's too wild and crazy then the imbalance of the game keeps the good players away.
