Even so, it's a Weapon boss, known in some FF games to be the most powerful of all the bosses, certainly moreso than the final boss.

Long ago, probably early-mid 00s there were AIM chats with the boards, at the time I posted on CE. There was this one guy who was cool and we got to talking, and it seemed like i was making a new internet friend.

We got to talking about the TV show Roseanne, and one scene where Roseanne and her husband argue but it is a pivotal moment in their relationship. The guy I was talking to said it reminded him of his own parents, so that scene always hit him hard.

I replied with "were your parents also fat like Dan and Roseanne"

Now, I get it, thats a dumb and insensitive thing to say, but I was just making an immature joke as teenager.

Unless I am mistaken, this is one of the optional Weapon bosses, and the attack is Light Pillar. It isn't a starting move, and it does 9999 to one character. It is unblockable, though, that is correct.

I am playing Kights II right now. This time I decided to play with blasters and droids. I use some force powers but the majority of my damage is blasting.

My main character has gotten great, and i have some good equipment, but I was told you can get so good you just mow hoardes down in seconds. I don't know if I'll get there, even if this game isn't exactly difficult. I feel like to get to that level I messed up a step.

Why would you ever legitimately need to blow up a computer? Why even have that as an option.

Like, the nozzle at the end is small enough to fit in the holes to blast away dirt and grime buildup, and then rinse heavily with water to get even more off and clear the unstuck grime from the body.

I put my piece in a plastic bag with enough opening to fit the waterpik nozzle in there so the shit doesn't explode all over everything.

Works just fine. Even better in conjunction with an alcohol bath but it honestly mostly eliminated the need for an alcohol bath.

Just make sure you have backup nozzles to actually use on your teeth, or otherwise clean the nozzle really well when done.

You know, i don't know about first thing but I'd get my house totall renovated and looking brand new. I do not want to move necessarily and i'll tell you why.

My house is on a hill overlooking a valley and on the other hill is a 3 million dollar mansion. I can take trails from the end of my street to a huge county park to the back yard of that mansion. That guy has trail access, too and I can get right up to a gate on their property that has a sign that says "thats the end of county land and i'd be tresspassing to climb that gate/fence. Plus, it'd be a super nice house, but i'd have direct contact with my other property, my childhood home i've been in for 30 years.

I went onto r/watches or whatever their main watch sub was, and the top posts were all either useful info or people showing off their watches. Stuff you'd actually want to see.

In one of the comments somebody posted a comment like "i spent too much money r/audiophile" and so I went to the audiophile sub and the top posts were all memes with zero substance. I imagine asking a hard hitting question about gear would get 2 upvotes and no actual responses of substance, but I have never posted there.

Obstruction error with obstruction in place, and the error is OBVIOUS. the more obvious a coin or bill error is, the more valuable it becomes because the chances somebody at the BEP(physical or electronic) should have caught it is high. So while the price IS justified, I still think this is stupid because, the previous record holder was a 10,000 dollar note with historical significance. For all we know, this could have been a bored or creative BEP employee which kills it for me because it likely was intentionally done.

The fine art scene can be dumb, but a lot of that people just don't understand. A banana taped to a wall or whatever is kinda stupid, yes. But then we have people talking about classic works of art like Onement VI by Barret Newman unable to grasp that nobody cares that after the work was created and placed in the lexicon, their kid could make a very poorly done copy of it.

Some other things to note:

This is a retained obstruction, which is rarer than a standard obstruction. Normally, the piece that obstructs falls off or is removed or whatever. The sticker is still on there, so rather than seeing a blank circular spot, you have the item intact.

I don't think we know HOW it happened, but a sticker from a Del Monte banana somehow made its way into the presses and was printed on a note that escaped the BEP quality checks and got out into the wild. This was proven to be an authentic obstruction error and not post mint damage.

To me this is kinda stupid....being an official BEP error it has value whereas it otherwise wouldn't. But this just screams of a BEP employee fucking with us, and there is no historical significance here, just a banana sticker.

I wouldn't, because even though I want sex eventually, real human connection is what I mainly want. However, I am not one of those people who constantly agonize about getting some and are constantly worrying about it. I know eventually it'll work out with somebody just because I am a good person with a personality and I have plenty of friends, so I know I am not actually some undateable loser. If I actually pushed myself to go out more(pre covid) I might have made it work by now.

The graphics look terrible but on the most recent PC release(the one before the actual HD upgrade) looks pretty alright to me, considering the time period it came out.

I've never bothered with the HD upgrade because I hear it isn't automatically better and it really was half assed.

I don't know. i assume the MPB is a rare random drop, so if I get lucky I should get more. I also hear your chances of getting one increase after level 20(I was 19 when I got it).

That detailed list of events makes a trilogy remake make a lot of sense.

I mean, I felt like a lot of people were thinking the first part of the FF7 remake would be the same 3 hours in Midgar like the original, and of course that would never have been the case.

There would be zero reason to believe an FF8 remake would just be 2 hours of the first fire dungeon and Dollet mission if they did it. I'd be interested in seeing a remake, but I highly doubt that would happen, for good reason.

What would make me happy is if they expanded the storyline some. I mean, the actual final boss wouldn't have been so forgettable if THEY got time to develop. Instead all you know is some interdimensional sorcoress and nebulous "time kompression". Expand her and actually detail her motivations for what she is doing and the story wouldn't be so bad. I don't know if how much they could change the Trabia Garden revelation scene where everybody realizes they know eachother since childhood and that GFs nebulously make them lose their memory, but some sort of expansion there would be welcome too.

I'd love it but I would never expect for there to be one. For GOOD reason(despite me loving it), FF8 is like the outcast PS1 game for good reason: plot is a mess with characters that hardly develop and junctioning is a nice idea but whack and also makes using magic spells practically useless.

But really, since this is a KoF or Lagn esque topic im treating it as a joke, when normally I would not.

At my liquor store we cannot assume a parent will serve their kid if they come in. BUT if I overhear the parent saying something like asking their kid what they want, or that they will serve them, they do not get served. (Well, I would ask for the kids ID and reject based off of that, rather than just assume they are under 21 and deny)

KoF will be that guy asking his kid what he wants in store but in such a smooth way(cause KoF is a smooth motherfucker) nobody suspects they're gonna have a rager when they get back home.

KoF will be that parent to take his 14-16 year old kid into the liqour store and buy for them both without alerting the staff he plans to serve his kid.

I found in a random drop a micro pulse blaster which is one of, if not the best blasters in the game.

So now the challenge is getting the best upgrade parts and then better blasters for my droid friends, but none of this is difficult. I am not OP steamrolling everybody but I can see the wheels turning on that end so its only a matter of time.

I still use those somewhat, but I have not put much into wisdom because i am focusing on dexterity, so i am not super powerful in that regard anyway

I feel like the biggest thing hindering me is not good enough blasters. But that should change in time, but this game also has almost all chests be random loot in addition to shopkeepers charging a ton for good stuff.

I am also glad to report HK and T3 are kicking ass. GOTO is as well but I think I wanna keep HK and T3 just because as my main party.

I've never been sure exactly why a lurker would someday out of the blue make a new account to join in on our drama. It isn't that interesting, at least from my perspective of being a regular here. Half the board does rip on Sunny, but that still doesn't explain why a random lurker nobody apparently would remember needs to make an account just to join in on it.

Every new account that gets made and then proceeds to post here is suspect because every time we get a new that account pops up, it's almost never somebody who just wants to post about stuff or be a normal person. It's almost always somebody to join in on the drama. But it just seems weird, even for a lurker, who might be privy to this stuff by way of lurking, to randomly out of the blue make a new account just to post and join in.

Those are my observations on the matter, because it really isn't much different 95% of the time we see an account created within the last few months who proceeds to come here as if they were apart of things the whole time.

As far as I can tell, without listening to too much MCR, they formed out of the Emo genre in the early-mid 00s when it became more commercialized. Emo formed out of the DC hardcore scene in the mid 80s, so I'll say yes.

This is a lot more fun than I thought it would be honestly. I never used blasters much because it seems like using swords/sabers is just natural in these games and blasters seem pointless mostly, but I also never bothered to use them much.

I've heard you can get so good you can rapid shot people to death in less time than it would take to run up to them with a lightsaber. I am not there yet but I am on my way.

I have a reason now to carry HK47 around, though with him I sometimes would just because he is hilarious. As far as others I am undecided at the moment who is better: T3 or GOTO. Another added benefit of this is I will actually have dedicated security/computer/demolitions people whereas normally i may not because i focus on other stuff.

The game hasn't been super difficult, except for intentionally not leveling characters to get better rewards later.
