Last year I HEard the music for those commercials pop up on the radio randomly. I'm actually kind of surprised I could still recognize it.

They were effective commercials at showing people how motion controls can be fun, though they exaggerated it sometimes. Also, it was just some random people, not Iwata or miyamoto.

Because some people (like me) like having subtitles.

Also because they often are stupid and don't mix the audio well enough for you to even be able to hear what the characters are saying.

My experience might be slightly different since for me the people administering the experiment helped facilitate it. But basically they had me dribble a ton of spit into a vial. I guess 23andme mailed them the vial kits, and then they mailed the vials back to 23andme after collecting my spit, and 23andme analyzed it and gave us the results. I've got my profile up on the site and I'm actually looking through my results now.

I got it for free when I was in college for participating in a study. I learned I have a copy of APOE, so I'm likelier to get Alzheimers disease. On the plus side, I have fast-twitch muscle fibers and am very unlikely to go bald.

The hurricane only just landed and you are already trying to claim it's not a big deal. People have already died from it, and it hasn't even gotten halfway through its deluge yet.

I think pizza delivery services won't be available to the areas people would be stranded. It'd be nice to have drone deliveries, but that would only work once the weather has cooled down. Drones would definitely have been very helpful delivering food to stranded people after katrina though.

Here in Austin I don't think it'll get worryingly bad, but I expect some roads to become unusable. Tomorrow morning I'm taking all my pot plants inside, and I bought a few extra cereal boxes and some bottled water. I refueled my car just recently, so there's no need to do so again.

Most of my friends do...but I spend a lot of time at the gym, as do most of my friends. I think it's more common than most people realize. Still a vast minority of people, though.

Also I think it depends on the location. In America it happens, and in LA it's pretty common. In China, no, normal people don't do it.

There's more to screen than resolution. What i wanted to know if it was super reflective low grade tn panel from dumbster like Wii u gamepad had. 3ds seems to have mixed screens so you never know what you get.

I've never had financial trouble, but I'm only 25. When I finished college I already had a good job lined up, but I also had $6000 of student loan debt. I paid it off very quickly and that was probably the worst I've ever been, financially.

I don't even want a SNES Classic and this angers me.

The system retails for $80, but Gamestop's child company ThinkGeek is only selling them in bundles with items they weren't able to sell standalone. Not only that, but they have also jacked up the prices of the items they bundled with the SNES classics so that you have to pay even more for the bundles.

If you buy the mega man helmet + SNES classic for $250, you're paying $170 for the helmet. However, the same helmet was on sale for $30 last week at ThinkGeek.

For another bundle, the chess set cost $50, the lamp cost $25, and the SNES is $80 so it should cost $155, but they just bumped up the prices of the chess set and lamp for this sale, so now the whole bundle costs $190.

Other bundles: $330 for a SNES classic and a canvas print of a picture from BOTW

$200 for a SNES Classic and a figure of Ryu.

And more bundles with crappy merchandise ThinkGeek couldn't otherwise clear out of their factories. Yet they all sold out. :/

Passion I guess. I really like having created projects that people can enjoy. It's not limited purely to games, I make videos and stuff out of the same desire to create something people enjoy. Heck I get happy when I get most viral on imgur. Like last night I made a post about the defenders that got most viral and now it has 85k views and it's just such a cool feeling knowing that tens of thousands of people saw and appreciated something you created.

I'm in it for the thrill of taking ideas I have, making them exist in the real world, and sharing them with people who enjoy them.

Don't get me wrong, if I could earn enough to not be homeless game designing I'd be so up for that (that would be like 1k/mo though) but right now I'd happily take some positive attention.

The worst feeling in the world is working on a project and having the result met with silence. So I'm really happy with the positivity in this topic.

There are some people in my life who I just can't help but feel happy to live with or be around. They're the people I can drop all my personas and say/do what I really think and want. One of them just moved to Mexico and she's out of my life now except for in social media.

At this point in my life it's really the biggest thing I care about with regards to my happiness. Really the only possible thing that could mess with my happiness at this point (other than freak accidents) is losing contact with good friends and having trouble finding any friends who I can share that kind of bond with. When I find somebody on my wavelength, it gives me better feelings of happiness and satisfaction than anything else. If I had massive wealth, it'd feel great in a way, but that alone wouldn't feel satisfying. Ultimately it just comes down to the people you spend your time with. And if I didn't have any good people in my life, I don't think I would feel at ease or like I'm really enjoying life until I found some. When I don't have that kind of relationship with anybody, I feel anxious.

Do you guys find the same thing? Does your happiness mostly rest on finding the perfect friends who match your sense of humor and personality, or can you be happy with just about anybody, or maybe do you not really need good relationships to be happy/satisfied?

I enjoyed it but it definitely wasn't one of my favorites. I thought it was cool that it took place in real locations around the world. I've forgotten most episodes, but there are a couple that are pretty cool, like the one where Debbie finds out about her power, so she gets a bunch of dingos and an aboriginal to drug her up so she thinks it was a dream, or the episode that shows how she got the power.

Moreover, LGBT culture is flamboyant and colorful, just like rainbows.

Additionally, each color was added to represent something: life, healing, sunlight, nature, serenity, and spirit. It originally had more than 6 colors.

I signed up on Tuesday when they announced it, I'll be using it a lot. AMC is worried it'll force a paradigm shift among moviegoers so that they won't be willing to pay $14+ a ticket in the future. Because after paying $10 a month for all the movies you could want, nobody would want to ever go back to paying that much per ticket.

Also I think AMC was planning on setting up a similar service for their cinemas, and MoviePass just undercut them.
