I don't like Other M at all, but I think the original Metroid is a worse experience because it didn't hold up. Although I think it is a better game when you consider its constraints and age, I think it's overall the worst to play.

I went on a documentary binge a few weeks ago and watched some documentaries about Hillary and Trump. Half were from over a decade ago. I feel bad for Hillary. She's had people trying to stifle her for her entire political life and she's put up with a lot of unfairness. She wasn't a great candidate at all but I do feel bad for her in a way at the same time.

Also obviously SOME people knew about trans people before Jenner came out...it wasn't obscure, and there had already been celebrities who came out as trans before Jenner. But she was the biggest one yet, and I think you get my point.

First of all I do NOT want to get into an argument about whether Jenner is a good person or not. I don't care about that. I'm only talking about the effect she had on the public familiarity with transgender people.

I think most Americans didn't know what it meant to be transgender until it made headlines in 2015 that Bruce Jenner had transitioned. There was a vague understanding, and it was part of the acronym LGBT, but I still think there was a vast misunderstanding/ignorance of what it actually means. Many people didn't know the difference between transgender, gay, transvestite, and transsexual. And I think there is still a lot of misunderstanding. But at this point everybody with internet access is at least familiar with the term and has a vague understanding of what it means.

Issues about transgender rights were not at the forefront of political discussions until people became familiar with what it means to be transgender. Now we see it come up regularly.

(Actually I think some people remain intentionally ignorant: the people screaming "there are only two genders" like a tantric mantra whenever a trans topic arises don't seem to understand that transgender people don't have anything to do with a third gender. But I think they're basically just trolling)

It's just kind of surprising how much things changed after Caitlyn Jenner came out. It could also be because marriage equality was recently passed here, but I think if Jenner had never come out, most Americans would still not know what it means to be trans, which shows how important exposure is to the acceptance of LGBT people.

I got them in Taiwan but managed to isolate my and clean my stuff by the time I got back home, so I was clean again. Also I saw one on my bed when I visited manhattan one time, so I changed rooms and managed to be safe.

Gyms love people who think like that, because most of them end up paying for a year and then quitting shortly after starting. The gym ends up with a nice profit without more people cluttering it up.

"If I pay for it, it'll force me to go" doesn't work because you'd still have to exert willpower to go even if you've already paid money. So why not just rely on willpower from the start?

I think Chipotle on the whole has above average hygiene, but it does get more attention for its health breaches than restaurants like McDonalds or Taco Bell do. I think it's because people aren't as surprised when McDonalds, etc. have health breaches compared to Chipotle

The only things I care about are basic functionality/reliability, radio/speakers, safety features, and self-driving. I'd go cheap. But when self-driving cars come out I'd get one almost ASAP.
