Storms ruined my day at Disney's Animal Kingdom last week.

It's my second favorite Disney park after Magic Kingdom, but 80% of their attractions are outdoor. If lightning strikes, as it did throughout the day, everything shuts down. We were stuck without park hopper and had only ridden three rides by 7 PM. The customer service rep was pretty awesome though. She allowed us to switch parks and gave us three universal fast passes in compensation.

The whole movie is about taking his place in the circle of life. That means passing his genes on to the next generation. There's a responsibility that he wants to shy away from, but he has to return home and face it. You can't tell kids "it's about sex and responsibility." That wouldn't be appropriate. But you can work it into the fabric of the story.

It's like The Little Mermaid being about puberty (girl's body goes through changes, she finds a guy she likes) and parental prejudices (daddy doesn't want her dating a human). Or the X-Men being a metaphor for how LGBT individuals are perceived.
