I'm a Protestant working for a Catholic facility. I outed myself as not being Catholic today. While we were walking down one of the hallways, the coworker who was training me asked if I'd like to see the chapel. I walked right to the center of the room, then turned around to see her on one knee making the sign of the cross.

I stated the obvious, "Oops."
She said, "It's okay, you're not Catholic."

I mean, you know. It's not like you have to be Catholic to work for them. I'm just a little embarrassed that I didn't know the etiquette of a Catholic church. The facility's chapel is beautiful, by the way.

Personally, I like it more than the SNES version. It straddles the line between blatant cash grab and worthy adaptation. It's almost legitimately good.

That's nice. I pretty much already own most of those games. I guess it will be nice to be able to play SNES Jurassic Park with a save feature?

What I'd really like is to bring the Sega arcade shooter home. I know you can't replicate the jeep, but it would still be fun just the same.

People typically like having jobs. When I worked retail pharmacy, I hated having to ring out the occasional neo nazi. I wasn't going to throw away my source of income over it though.

I was less cordial with them than with other customers, but I still had to give them their meds.

I'm a Christian. I don't think people should have to hide what they believe. But mandating that one religion be favored over others in a public setting is completely messed up. I don't like these people using religion as their weapon of choice in trying to control the rights of others.

Who in the MCU is better than Thanos? Also yeah, he's a knockoff of Darkseid, but Darkseid rules.

Off the top of my head, I found Red Skull, Iron Monger, Loki, Ronan the Accuser, and Winter Soldier to be far more engaging.

I haven't even seen half of the MCU films and I still find it an easy task to point to a villain whose better. Ultron would have been better too if he had been in a better movie and didn't sing Pinocchio.

Thanos is just generic. I don't care how powerful he is. Superman isn't my favorite superhero. Dragon Ball Z isn't my favorite anime. John Cena isn't my favorite pro wrestler. And Thanos is not my favorite villain. Characterization and presentation are immeasurably more important than power level.

I'm still in training for my job at the ER. Today, the head trainer wanted to have lunch with me to see how things were going and discuss the next step. We got food at the hospital cafeteria and I accumulated ranch Doritos dust on my fingertips while we ate and talked. I waited impatiently for him to turn to take his tray up, then hastily licked my fingers.
