I mean if the looks are the only thing turning you off, mods are an easy fix. Unlike the gameplay. Hell the portrait fix isn't really a mod you install, you just copy and paste the new files into the portraits folder or whatever. Takes like two seconds to make it look much nicer.

That's just it. I'm not looking to be snarky, but if it were just graphics, it wouldn't be too much of an issue. I don't like the portraits, the models, the animations - basically the entire aesthetic suite. It just doesn't appeal to me.

I never played Stardew Valley. I didn't like the character and design aesthetics, which are a big draw for me in these games. Yes, mod mod mod, but if the base game isn't enough to get me to play it, why would I spend the time modding it?

Enough talk of waifus - my fields won't sow themselves. I just started Summer, and I'm planning out my crop layouts. I want my onions to be closest to the shipping container, because aesthetics. My corn and tomatoes will share real estate beside the onions, and my pineapples will be a bit south of them. I also kind of want to move my grass to the northern part of my field, as opposed to the southern part where they started.

As an aside, I _love_ that they make your farm animals run inside automatically when it gets late out. I hated having to devote a block of time to getting the fuckers into their barns.

All I know is that people used to love marrying Karen to save her from Rick, or they would marry Popuri to keep her in town all year round. Now? Rick and Karen are perfect for each other - a bitter irony considering that they took out rival marriages. I still don't understand why they removed them. Having a bunch of young people in the same town with the fate of "marry the one new guy or become a spinster for life" is pretty off putting. Their perpetual existence shouldn't rely on your whims.

With the way crop yields work, one day isn't going to make much of a difference. You're going to have two days of overlap where you aren't going to be able to produce anything. Huang sells pineapple seeds year round, so you can buy those at the end of spring and plant them the first day of summer. It's always a good idea to purchase an abundance of seeds at the end of the season so you can have them for the first day of the season next year.

Which the Zen2 chips do by themselves. All the time. Performance Boost Overdrive is an OC algorithm that uses your temps and cooling solution to determine how high it can safely go. I have a 3600x, which has a floor of 3.6ghz. It can boost up to 4.4ghz, but my chip usually only hits 4.3ghz. That's 700mhz - a pretty significant OC.

The fans help with airflow through the case, but even then, there are diminishing returns on case fans. An AIO or tower cooler will be better for your CPU than more case fans. The Wraith Spire is decent for a stock cooler, but even a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo will knock up to 15c off your temps.

One of the best things they introduced in 4e. I'm a level 12 wizard, and I have 5 level 1 spells? Fuck that noise. I should be powerful enough to have unlimited magic missiles and ray of frosts. They aren't that magically intensive, and growing in level should mean that your lower level casting becomes more efficient.

You can't go into any of your menus or give gifts during festivals, so I can play it safe and say you don't get any XP during festivals. You could always test that, though. Take a screenshot of your progress bar before and after the event.

I'm at my sister's house right now, and all I do is go back home and play it. I should have brought my Switch with me, but I don't trust my nieces to be gentle with it.
