I beat H'annit's ch. 3 boss - the first one that actually gave me difficulty. I game over'd once, but only because I decided to attack after the boss decided to wind-sweep 3 of my party members away.

I still love the game, but I'm lamenting how its open-ended structure leads to a lack of focus in the game. There's no galvanizing aspect to rally around, which is part of the charm, but also removes a driving factor in these games. I love to see bad guys either get redeemed, or get their comeuppance. I suppose I'll have to play through all the chapters to see which characters fall into which categories.

I'm playing the game relatively slowly. I have 4h in the game, with H'annit, Therion, and Ophellia in my party. I'm loving almost everything about the game, but the depth of field makes navigating a bit tricky at times when you're looking for the way through an area. Also, the bloom in this game can fuck off. Other than that, I love it so far.

7 is great on PC. 6 is all right if you can get past the fugly sprite graphics.

The movie was better than it should have been, because Samuel L Jackson seems to take whatever role comes his way lately. Pretty fun movie, kind of like The Bourne Identity meets The Odd Couple.

1. Be on GBA, DS, or 3DS
2. NOT be a waifu simulator (or if a certain game is really damn good, as minimal waifu aspects as possible)

Fire Emblem 7 on GBA, Fire Emblem Echoes on 3DS. FE7 has permadeath, but the game is really good. Fire Emblem Echoes is a remake of Fire Emblem 2, and it has a casual mode that has no permadeath. I would recommend those two out of all your criteria.

Ive got a PC in my basement with a 6GB hard drive. Its mind blowing to think about because it doesnt seem like that long ago that I was using it. I paid $900 for that thing! And I think I even used it to check GameFAQs.

My first computer ran Windows 98. The HDD was too small to fully install Baldur's Gate on it. The game is only 600MB fully installed. I still have my big box version of that game. I love it.

Edit: I got the install size wrong. Baldur's Gate was fucking massive when it was released back in the day, but not _that_ massive_.

I don't talk to myself so much as I broadcast my thoughts verbally. It helps me concentrate and focus on what I'm trying to do in game, be it calculating stats for new gear, or just trying to kill someone in game.

Yup. Some places (Canada, for instance) allow for the fact that _teens are horny_ and won't criminalise minors having sex so long as both parties are older than 13, and no more than 24 calendar months apart in age. But yes, most of the US is legal at 16, but 18 is fully adult.

Depends on what age you are. When you're 18, you want to go 16-19. The dating pool opens up as you grow older. Shit, 10 years is a perfectly acceptable age gap when you're in your 30s.

My initial complaints are still valid: the random slowdown is pretty bad, and the music fidelity is pretty garbage compared to the SNES. However, as I'm playing the game, I find it easier to ignore these problems and just focus on the good aspects of the port, namely the added content and the fixed glitches. The game actually looks a lot better on my AGS-101 model GBA than it does on the GBA player. Guess the game is tuned for the lower brightness of the screen, because it looks washed out as fuck on my TV. Swapping the guts from my AGS-001 to the AGS-101 model was a damn good idea.

At any rate, I've been doing a low-level challenge of sorts, at least until the level averaging stops, because I want to get as good of stat spread as possible. I'm heading to the Opera House with my highest level character being Gau at 7. Here's hoping the rats in the rafters are nice to me. >_>

It's the first "badass looking" armour set in the game, and it's found rather early. It's the mark of the 'casul'.

Clerics usually have a holy weapon that's favoured by their Diety. As it is, a mace is a blunt weapon, which is great for dealing with Undead (resists pierce/slash damage), which is a cleric's primary enemy.
