I've never played 5e, but I understand that they made things a bit more accessible for mages in the early levels, as well as put more of an emphasis on character building instead of meta-gaming.

It's not. It requires a lot of save scumming because you have to get specific stat boosts from the beef bowl challenge.

True. I've only beaten the game four times, though. Basically, you're going to need to beat the game twice anyways to get everything in the game and get the final trophy. So, use your first playthrough to work on building up your stats, and your second playthrough to focus on your social Links.

Make sure to map out when your social Links are available so you can do them in as efficient a manner as possible. Note to that almost all social links are unavailable during exam time, as are your party member social links when you're doing an investigation. I believe they're available in the interim between when you've completed a dungeon and when the story continues.

If you want to do everything possible in one playthrough, look up the 100% social link guide. It basically guides you through the entire game and how to most efficiently level your social stats so you can get the most social Links.

I see Mayneth particles around Fiora still, though her power source had been ripped out. I have a feeling Mayneth is playing a bit of a parlour trick, much in the same way Zanza did, back when Metal Face "killed" him.

I'm about level 72 right now, and there's a bunch of shit I can do. I've also kept expert mode on, meaning I have all of that extra XP. If I need to grind, I can just respond some unique monsters. That's what I've been doing to get all of their advanced arts.

I'm sticking with Crono, Frog and Marle/Lucca for now.

There isn't really a bad party, as they are all completely viable. I'm partial to using Crono, Frog, and Ayla myself. Falcon Strike is a beastly double tech.

It's a top-down action adventure, where you pick three knights to go crusading with. You basically play through the storyline of the TV show. I rented a bunch when I was a kid, but never got far in it because it was obtuse and I was dumb.

Some moderate damage to the label, but the cheapest price I've seen for the game. There's a local store that's trying to sell it for $90, and the label is completely faded from sun exposure. I even got him to take ten bucks off his asking price.
