I made a slight mistake. I started off by buying as many brooches as I could carry, then tried buying the power Berry. Thomas wouldn't let me, despite the power berry being a handheld item that I was going to eat immediately.

I had three cucumbers left that I was saving for Kappa, so I decided to toss those and buy the power Berry. You don't have to give him cucumbers 10 days in a row, right?

That's probably a better way of doing it. I just don't want to give myself too much of a game-breaking advantage. $81,000 isn't a game breaking amount of gold. Like @Leanaunfurled , I need a motivating factor to keep me playing a game. If I get all the gold I need that I no longer have to worry about it, that's half the reason for playing the game.

I thought I soft locked the game by doing a screen transition at the same time as npc, and got stuck inside of him on the next screen. I would like to be inside of a few people, but not Saibara.

happened to me too. Only way I could get free was to grab something from my bag and hold it.

Man wish I had more time to play. Not even that close, also my fishing rod is barely at 60% even with sitting in the mine casting till I got nothing and going to the hotspring.

I didn't figure this out until much later in the game. It made my barn chores so much easier, since they clump up like crazy in there. x.x

The fishing pole sucked. I just used up all my stamina every night mindlessly hitting Y while watching a TV show or something >_>

Good to know. The paths are barely wide enough to accommodate skirting around NPCs.

Also, it appears that most of the bachelors and bachelorettes are purple heart for me without me doing anything, so that's nice.

You can earn progress towards upgrades on items, even if you aren't using them properly?

Thats why Im holding onto Vans Favorite. I refuse to sell them. Right now I have about $6,000 total but itll be gone soon.

Never really checked, but I am guessing no exp during festivals right? Cause those ones at the beach would be great for fishing, well until you are out of room.

You can't go into any of your menus or give gifts during festivals, so I can play it safe and say you don't get any XP during festivals. You could always test that, though. Take a screenshot of your progress bar before and after the event.

I'm at my sister's house right now, and all I do is go back home and play it. I should have brought my Switch with me, but I don't trust my nieces to be gentle with it.

Apparently someone said it is a bug that the drop rate is so low, and I was wondering what the steam update that was about a gig was yesterday, and read the patch notes... Added compatibility mode.

I really hope it's a bug. I've read that the two statues in the mine could affect drop rates, over on the SoS subreddit. I'll be aiming to grab those tomorrow so I guess we'll see.

Yeah they did. After 100 goddess gifts, you unlock the elevator feature for the mines, which take you to every 50th floor.

Got all the cursed tools and 4 Kappa gems after too much reseting >_> Do animals gain affection if the sprites brush them or nah?

She's currently my #1 marriage candidate! I originally was thinking of her and Ran but Ran's heart events have been kinda boring so far.

Brandon's my number #2 after my wife pointed out he's just an in-game version of me lol.

Oh man, finally got to floor 255 in the spring mine. Nabbed the collectible statues/ketchup and teleport stone. Think I'll put the game down until I get word of a mythic stone patch, since I'm trying to go for the king fish and want a Mythic Rod before spring ends. :(

I was a little disappointed tbh, I remember Ran/Ann being my favourite character from the last games. I was gonna go straight for her but all the other events are so much more enjoyable.

Or I'll go gay for Cliff. He's pretty dope too.

I thought Ran was really adorable. :( I was pretty close to picking her but Gray won out.

I prefer Rans new design as she doesnt look like shes 10 years old anymore lol.

It doesn't. You have to go to a mine and a scene will trigger with the goddess then.

Nah, outside the mine, when you try to enter. One way to tell you're also at 100 is if you have the Super Fascinating Book on your shelf. Which she also doesn't mention, but Marie does. >> The goddess is so cheeky
