Yeah, I did some damage to golem over a while, but not enough. Used OK, alph, fujin, yuna, and rosa. Rosa to wrath then use USB, and Yuna's bsb2 gives a faithga as well as OK's BSB. Still not enough though.

Tried Sealion next. OK, ramza, refia, Terra, rosa. Was getting decent damage, but having the USB as my only form of healing wasn't enough. Switched to Relm, but still couldn't keep up with the damage and couldn't blink anything either.

Damn these things are tough.

Meltdown is the one I use the most often (aside from snowspell strike), though I toss in Omega Drive when I can as well.

Trying to nail down a mage party for Golem. I have both Alph and Fujin with bursts, so that should be helpful. Not sure how else to fill out the team. I do indeed have Cloud's USB, but if I go the mage route, then Golem wastes turns casting protect and earthen wall, not to mention not having to deal with earthen wall at all.

Read a bunch about how brutal and such A+ and JS Rubicante's ultimate dispel was. I nuked him before he could use it and hide in his cloak. Two of my newer relics helped quite a bit (Bartz USB and Rinoa CSB), and I had Rosa's USB also, though it never had to blink ultimate inferno.

Watching the Bears play defense against the Falcons (aside from the 88 yard blunder) was actually quite pleasant. As long as injuries don't completely fuck them up like last year, they could be fairly decent.

Speaking of injuries, man can Kevin White just never catch a break? Broken collarbone and shoulder blade, done for the year AGAIN. Three separate injuries in three years that have nothing to do with each other. 5 games played out of 48 total (by the end of this year). Absolutely unbelievable. Now with Meredith and White out, Wheaton still questionable due to his surgically repaired finger, our top wideouts are Kendall Wright and..............Josh Bellamy? Lol people can shit on Mike Glennon all day (and he didn't look great until the 4th, when he actually looked fairly decent), but he has no one at receiver to throw to. Though Tarik Cohen was a thing, and he looked spectacular.

In short, many optimistic signs, huge gains from last year, but still likely not a big season, wins-wise. Need to shore up the receiving corps, maybe one or two more playmakers in the front 7, then they'll be in a good spot. I actually don't mind their secondary, which started someone new at each position than last year. Needs time to gel.

Anyway, defeated my first Torment 250 today (FF 7 Gi Nattak). Man that was a lot of trash stages to get through. Having a fully dived Cloud with USB and BSB2 was very helpful (also used Luneth w/BSB, Tyro w/SG, Onion Knight w/BSB geared for magic, and Relm w/USB and BSB), and even moreso when I finally got to Nattak. He killed Tyro with a comet right after SG expired (and Nattak still had over 3/4 HP left), so I basically tried to burst him down ASAP. Thankfully, the USB/BSB2 combo, along with OK's VoF and RW Shout helped raise the damage quite a bit.

Just beat the JS 300 version as well. Substituted Aeris for Relm, and Celes for Luneth. Celes for IB (which very much helped), and Aeris for Seal Evil, and those extra 10 5* vitality motes for having a second FF 7 member.

Finished the rest of the rebirths too.

Warmech was annoying, and Lightning died towards the end, but I was able to time things well so it wasn't bad.

Dullahan was hella annoying with northern cross. First time it only stopped Terra and celes, but the second time it stopped everyone except Relm. Still nuked him with fire, but ugh annoying.

Garuda was fairly easily, ripped apart by Cloud and luneth for the most part.

Kuja almost killed me at the end with his double gargantvolts, but I scraped by. He was tough, but Vaan's bsb was quite helpful.

Oddly enough, I just finished the first two today too. Seifer was easy. Rufus was annoying with mako cannon spam, and dark nation is a piece of shit. Basically, I debuffed Rufus, used Celes to dispel DN's buffs (and to use IB to absorb slows and dispels), and hammered away on DN. Once he's dead, it's a race against Rufus's mako cannon spam. I didn't debuff dark nation at all, and once I had SG and protectga up, his physical attacks weren't bad.

Mastered the JS version. I have a new favourite combo of Zidane BSB for imperiling wind, and Cloud BSB/USB. Added in full break, armor breakdown, shout, vessel of fate, and hailstorm. After 3 of Zidane's BSBs, an enwind Cloud was hitting 50K with each hit of ultimate cross slash. Yeah, Rhitahtyn died right there.

Vaan's BSB was indeed made for these 3. Atomos and Dracozombie both gave me no issues. Ark SHOULDN'T have given me any, except I hit Tyro's USB instead of SG, and SG ran out right after that cast, which gave me trouble, as Ark still had 1/3 HP left. Yuna ended up dying, and Alphinaud and Vaan were kneeling, but beat him before he could hit another AOE.

Will do the Jump Start tomorrow, but I don't see it causing many issues. I can use Vaan for support, switch out Tyro for Luneth for more wind damage, and use Y'sh for wall and Asylum.

Not even bothering with Adamanwhatever. Mastered JS Proud Clad. Shantotto died after taking a couple lasers in a row after ultimate retaliatory strike, but everything went well aside from that. Was able to use her lightning chain and keep it up, allowing Orlandu (with help from Lightning USB RW) to hit 99999 3 times. Subbed Onion Knight in for Tyro, as I have SSII and Asylum with Y'sh. JS enabled be to use both. First time ever that I haven't brought Tyro to an ultimate or higher difficulty battle.

An unmitigated AOE physical attack almost did me in before SG went up a second time, but weathered the AOE barrage and killed him. Hindsight, maybe should've used my heavier hitters at level 99 instead of Bartz, but Hand of the Crystals did 60k twice, so that was helpful. Not that bad, definitely not nearly as annoying as Iron Clad. Was a fun, tough, battle, just like it should be.
