I actually got to break out Lenna's BSB against MP Seymour, which was neat, and she performed well (~6500 x4 from Cmd1). Of course, she was still dead by the end of the fight, because someone decided to miss consecutive Stops on Mortibody, RELM. But the "4+ characters alive" condition doesn't care if any of them were just Reraised and will die to a sneeze, so that all works out.

Apocalypse Seymour is mostly just annoying, 'cause he can flip weaknesses at the drop of a hat. He's quite frail by Apoc standards, so a "mitigated" OSB still stings him, but if yours is on someone like Tidus or Orlandu then I would suggest lining up a Powerchain.

F torment dungeon reopened, now that I have decent FFX synergy I hope I can beat it now. Still farming for Black Orbs today through.

Wonder if Dena will shuffle the events again after the maintenance, hopefully not since the Type-0 event is supposed to be the next weekly event.

Well unless you really want the healer BSB it okay to skip this banner since the hardest boss for this event is just an Ultimate+ (like WoFF) and Japan just got their second Type-0 event announced so we won't need the synergy for 5-6 months.

Ugh I barely beat the d200 torment dungeon even using Cloud's USB + chant and water twinstrikes (granted it was only R2). This bastard has too much health and spams too many aoe attacks so I need two medicas. Maybe I should just wait until the next FF5 banner and Chase Bartz's BSB2 and USB.

At least I have mug bloodlust now.

Also my mistake, the hardest boss in that event is a u++ actually, but he has lower stats and a weakness to fire/ice/lightning so he should be pretty easy.

Finally have a relic for Gilgamesh and actually got something better for Bartz. Considering my lack of FFV physical relics, this was actually pretty worth it for me, and this is really good for RS in general.

Plus the novelty of seeing 11 Rainbow Orbs pop-up on my screen was just too good to pass up!

Picked up the FFIII Scholar Hat because I could use a mage armor relic for that realm.

Kinda wish I got Terra's BSB but oh well.

surely when they both have RS the BSB+++ comes out ahead, no? and that's all that really matters. my only reforged sword is a weak shared SB sword and even that is only slightly weaker than my OSB swords when they both have RS.

A recent 5* relic at +++ should be a few points higher than a 6* with synergy, but the difference isn't massive, especially once you add Rosetta Stones

I only have old swords at +++, so nowadays their attack should be 10-15 more. Here are some numbers from my game:
Platinum Sword 5+++ (no Rosettas) - 298 with synergy
Bartzcalibur 5+++ (full Rosettas) - 322 with synergy
Agrias Ragnarok 6* (no Rosettas) - 287 with synergy
Beatrix Ultima Sword 6* (full Rosettas) - 327 with synergy

As you can see, Bartzcalibur still loses to Ultima Blade, but Bartzcalibur is pretty old at this point. A modern 5+++ should get higher than my Ultima Blade, although obviously the newest 6*s are also slightly stronger than Ultima Blade. Still, I'd expect the 5+++ to have around 10 more Attack than a 6*, if both are fully augmented. This gap would increase to 25 without augments.

Ultimates mastered, really easy batch here, Ace is still level 56 and I still got through these with full medals. That speaks for itself.

The cougars were really weak, Raines' burst command 2 was doing 9999x2 on them with no synergy (granted 3-4 30% faithagas.) The only threat they have is the discharge the last 3 use even then it's not that bad.

Brionac did cause me to reset once because of magitik laser doing 2400 damage to my party and killing one character, but on the second time where I used Moogle Justice it wasn't a problem. Papalymo could only get 5 hits since I swapped Raines for Ace but that was enough to get the job done, Ace's ultra was used alongside Rapha RW Burst for quickcast healing or chain fiagras.

Also the event dungeons and banners look so empty now that the FF12 Zodiac Age promotion is done.

Japan gets the next Type-0 event in August so we don't know the banners yet. It's not really worth drawing for synergy since the ultimates are really easy and the next event is so far away.

While Ace's BSB/USB combo makes him one of the strongest mage DPS and Duece's BSB/USB is nice the rest of the relics are mediocre to poor. Pretty much all of Nine's relics suck, including his Burst.

The next Type-0 banners should be a lot better hopefully.

Ultimates mastered, Edea is annoying with her dispels and sleepgas and has way too much HP but other than that these weren't too bad.

Behemoth and Iron Giant were the quickest ultimates so far, Cloud used his USB, Hailstorm on Behemoth twice, Thundering Twinstrike on Iron Giant twice, dead.

T-Rexasaurs, I actually Cid Misson'd this one with my new toys, Rinoa's BSB2 for Ice weakness exposure, Fujin for resistance lowering and making earthquake softer. Irvine had Mako Might so he could use his hyper break super at the start and used full break and power break them to mitigate the damage, Quistis uses her Cerebus super for hasteaga and quick cast, and used Rapha BSB RW to give a magic buff and act as second healer, Selphie did the standard white mage stuff and saved our butts with her last stand on her USB. I barely beat this one because their aoe attacks hurt. When swapped Irvine, Quistis and Selphie for Mog, Relm and Tyro these guys were cake through.

Edea is heavily mitigated by Vaan's BSB, but her sleepga spell is super annoying since it's very accurate on front row characters,but has no effect on back row characters, but the catch is that she's immune to all elements barring the one she shifts between weak phases, so you if you plan to go mage you'd better have some good bursts with NE secondary elements. Her dispell/gaviga is annoying as well but I brought Relm and Prishe with me to recover from those. Vaan and Ramza with Zell BSB RW were my DPS here, Vaan shredded her with high crit instant Thief's Revenges in the last third so I could kill her ASAP before she did more sleepga/dispel/gravity shenanigans.

I got a clear on Apoc Tonberry King (using Invinci-Galuf to tank, and after several S/Ls because of getting Galuf timing wrong), but not a mastery, because my Yuna USB user got doinked while the killing blow was already charging and so the fight ended with multiple people dead. It'd be a good fight to have CT0. ...So I should probably bring Raijin SSB next try.

This is pretty much the perfect armor for my Maria, so that's awesome, even if the SB itself may not be all that great.
