D200 FF 5 torment mastered. Brought no AOE, oops. Thankfully, was able to whittle them all down, but it took quite some time. 3 of the 4 rounds of trash, I got 5 of those pig things, so that was ridiculous. Not sure I'm up to trying D250 anytime soon.

Maaan was that a slogfest. Ran outta hones at the end with Orlandu, Tyro, and Yuna.

Yuna's USB was the MVP in this fight. Last Stand raised up Shantotto 3 times I believe (might have been 4), and provided a few hastegas after my second VoF ran out. Not the greatest build, Quetz was only doing 4k over both hits combined, and Yuna was outta hones fairly quickly. Fight seemed to take literally 20 minutes (I should've timed it), not one of the more fun ones. Oh well, over and done with thankfully.

Murdered Adel and Tri-Point. Mage team for Tri-Point (outside of Squall, who I used for spellblade + OSB, and dancer Tyro) pretty much obliterated him. Took Lulu as I had her burst, and never actually had to use it.

Not quite sure of the team I need for Iron Clad. Thinking two healers to deal with the damage from the 3 soldiers after the tank blows up. Though one of the healers may be a hybrid, just with a healing BSB. They'll join Orlandu, Tyro, and...........I don't know who the last member will be yet.

Mastered Asura and Leviathan.

Thankfully, I have Celes' IB, meaning a lot of Asura's BS could be absorbed, as could Leviathan's single target spells. Even with that, it wasn't easy. Hammered on Asura as much as possible, but it took a while to bring her down. Orlandu's OSB brought Leviathan down fairly quickly, but he kept using that water plume defense ignoring move. Used deluge right before I killed him, bringing Orlandu down to 59 HP, and killing Celes, though last stand brought her back to 69 HP (thanks to native Yuna USB!).

Definitely a slogfest though, lotta HP to cut through, and Asura was a pain in the ass. Didn't have room to slot in Vaan, so I RWed Ark Blast, which kept Leviathan's damage manageable while I hammered on Asura.

Now with that done, I'll give the 250 difficulty torment a shot tomorrow.

All came down to timing. SG and Shout right away, and lifesiphoned on Valefor with Paine and Vaan, until Ark Blast could be used. Thankfully, he never used the ST version of sonic wings. VoF used right after Ultimate Sonic Wings, and continued to beat on Valefor until it died.

I was actually able to use Ark Blast on Ifrit before it started with Ultimate Hellfire, so that was sweet. Aside from that, he was pretty straight forward. More lifesiphon with Paine, mainly so she'd have just about 3 SB charges against Ixion, burst commands with Vaan, breakdowns and re-applying SG with Tyro, swiftspell and Chain Blizzaga with OK, healing with Yuna.

Had all my actions queued up for Ixion's appearance, so protectga/shellga were applied right after ultimate aerospark, and VoF was applied a turn afterwards as well. Everything was going perfectly, but I forgot about the under 40% Ultimate Aerospark again. So I just beat on him really fast (thankfully could use an Ark Blast right afterwards), mainly using two of Paine's Liquid Steel's, which hit 9999x6, twice. Vaan killed it with a thief's revenge, likely before an Ultimate Thor's Hammer was coming.

Now to start the FF 4 event...

Edit: Also, I had Paine equipped with an 8* Riot Blade, so that helped too!

King of Darkness mastered. Was a tad annoying with his immunities in the first form, but a Thunder God from TGC took care of a good portion of health. Basically just melted him in his second form with Raines' burst and OK's swiftspell.

Took out Torment 200 Velius (Belias) as well. Basically, saved up 3 Thunder Gods for TG Cid, and my RW was a TG Cid with 700 attack, so was basically going to just unload with 5 blasts to end it fast. Problem was, apparently I didn't target my first cast of RW and my first native TG, so they both went at a regular demon. SG ended up running out as well, but I had enough in the tank (mainly Agrias' OSB) to finish him. Not sure if I'll give any of the 250s a shot, as micromanaging through 4 rounds of trash is tough, I don't even know how 6 is possible.

I don't think I can beat Nemesis. I'd need to give DMT/MM to a healer, and that means taking it away from either Tyro or Vaan. Otherwise, I can't survive the onslaught, or get even close to phase 2.

Even Nemesis Descent wasn't easy. Was never in super real danger of dying, but it was a slog and a half. I need to get deployment tactics up faster, or just straight up switch out Relm or Rosa for Y'shtola, switch out Alph for Vaan, and RW deployment tactics.

Trying to put together my Nemesis party. I'm thinking two healers are needed, Alphinaud for both his burst, and deployment tactics, Tyro for wall and dances, and OK for his burst (so I can keep up haste as often as possible). I have Vaan's burst too, would he be a better option?

FF 9 ultimates mastered. Tiamat gave me a couple issues with ultimate jet fire spam, but everything else was a joke essentially. Masked Man was super easy, and I basically nuked the Mistodons.

Tyro's USB is very helpful in the U++ battle against Dullahan. The status blink nullifies the auto-stop, and I stuck wrath on him to build up gauge ASAP to put up SG also. His second northern cross hit me, but he had barely any health at that point, and died as soon as my first offensive character came out of stop.

As for the banners...

Banner 1 definitely gets an 11 pull, maybe even a second one. Tyro USB, OSBs for Seph and OK, plus Kain and Maria's bursts? Yes please.

Banner 2 will get 100 gems and that's probably it. Nothing interests me a whole lot there.

Banner 3 will get 100 gems, not sure if anything else. I already have Bartz OSB, Raines BSB and Refia BSB.

Banner 4 is tricky. At least 100 gems. I have Orlandu's OSB and Alphinaud's BSB, but Agrias' OSB, as well as Ashe's, and a couple other things intrigue me a bit.

Banner 5 has Eiko's USB and Vanille's BSB so I may take an 11 pull here (as well as 100 gems).

Hmm. This may also change after the BSB lucky draw tomorrow, depending on if I get anything that I don't already have.

Yeah that U++ Emperor was no joke. Even that AOE physical attack was quite strong. Was a race at the end to kill him before he used Starfall after the second slowga. Thankfully Jecht's burst went off and did the trick.
