I know its late, but I FINALLY killed jenova part 2 in torment. Party composition was screwing me for that one. Went with cloud, seph, shelke, cait sith and aeris. Cait sith for USB and dispel, Aeris with her healing BSB, shelke for battery until she died, then cloud and seph for DPS. Seph basically used his USB when he had a chance, and dread weapon at other times, while cloud was tornado and aero quad striking, used his USB twice, and killed her with his AOSB.

Unfortunately, took 34 seconds. So I still have 30 rubies to get. Finally got Voltech also, so thats sweet.

I have him half dived, but I don't care too much about his LD. His RM2 gives him Last Stand and Reraise at the start of battle, which I can only think of being useful against an enemy with a conditional OHKO attack (like it targets highest HP member or member in the first slot, something like that). If you get his LM that gives a chance of W-cast darkness I would consider it though, as he does have a couple darkDMG% increases in the LD.

FFT0: Seven LMR, Sice BSB

Meh.

Looking at going through each of the new torments. Did the first two of queklain, but couldnt beat the second difficulty of Gilgamesh or jenova. I have all the toys in FF7 (though no Zack chain), but just couldnt pull it off.

I think I can beat Deadeye, but I have no hastega in that realm for SBs. I do have promptos chain, as well as Araneas USB, Prompto USB, and Noct ASB.

Fast casts make it roughly as good as equipping a damage materia and Ace Striker at the same time. The downside is it wears off after 25 seconds, and if you have a different source of fastcast it's less helpful.

In terms of magicite, using mom bomb as active for imperil, and have King Bomb, Maliris, Firemane, and Wing Raptor (for fast act).

Looks kinda similar to my team, but I have Zell instead of Refia. Try giving her TGC RM3, that might be all you need for sub-30.

Other considerations:
- Do you have a bow/thrown for Bartz? That would help for the flying phase. Might be worth a shot, even if it isn't fire+.
- Try if skipping BSB fire and going straight to USB isn't better.
- Does OK's Meltdown outdamage Smoldering Fires? If not, consider honing SF to r3 or r4.

- using a thrown for both Refia and Bartz, though neither is fire+ unfortunately (though both have fire+ armour)
- I initially went with just USB, and it just didn't seem like it was pumping out enough damage, even with Much more fire RM
- yeah meltdown doesn't outdamage SF. Should I just have two R3 copies of it maybe?

Down to 19.57. Once I get the dampen fire from Isgebind, I should be even more comfortable. Rosa normally blinks two savage firagas, so as long as I don't get two AOEs in a row around the 10s mark, I'm basically good to go.

Holy shit, Maliris down in 21.27.

Took a few restarts, as always got hit with a second savage firaga around 10-11s and lost some characters. Ended up losing Shelke right after she transferred another bar to Tidus for his USB, but stuck it out. Baaaaarely got in another USB of his RIGHT before his chain ran out. Tidus MVP for sure, though Rosa blinking a savage firaga late in the fight (already at 3 imperil) was huge.

Going to farm this a little, to get some of the magicite itself, before moving on.

That's what I normally have gone with. Shelke is my entrust bot, and OK goes water ninja. Rosa has wrath and protectga. OK will likely have to carry shellga also though, as liquid flame was mostly physical and gravity, but maralith is mixed. I normally protectga, then wrath with rosa until USB. But f maralith is opening with a nuke, I don't know if I can afford to wait to heal.

Got exdeaths unique SB on the daily. Already have his USB though, so the SB itself isn't useful. Tossing it in the vault to use for legendary weapon fodder.

Torn between the two USBs on the select thing (though haven't done the draw yet). OK's mUSB and God Wall. I have pUSB and it's in all of my 3* magicite runs. Now that I'm going to start on 4* shortly, and I have a couple magic chains (lightning and ice, as well as physical water, all Gen 1 I think), I thought it may help. As well as in all other content that discourages physical teams for whatever reason (and 5* magicite later). God Wall because obvious reasons. Will mull that over for a bit.

The FF4 banner is intriguing as it has a few good top prizes. Even Porom's USB looks quite good. Looks like quite a few duds though.
