I'm actually quite happy about this. I actually wanted Kefka's BSB for how maddening it looks and it finally gives me a Poison Soul Break (which I honestly can't recall if I have another). Plus, Kefka's my favorite FF villain, so it's great to finally get a relic for him.

Similarly with Sazh, though his BSB would be more good for stacking.

Now I'm at 0 mythril...RIP getting Cloud's USB.

I've heard Vayne's is quite good actually, but I don't have it so not totally sure.

I own and use Vaynes' BSB, it's pretty good. Not the heaviest hitter but dark infusion and both of his commands are 4 hit heals, his real strength is his versatility as he can be effective at both physical or mage. That and he can lifesiphon.

That said I stopped using him on my dark mage team when I got Nabaat's BSB.

Ultimates mastered, man these guys sucked. They're not that hard but they are annoying as fuck due to gimmicks.

Phantom Train seems to use his diabolical whistle more often than the other fights against him, which blows since he can confuse and petrify. Thankfully he's only an ultimate so he goes down in a few Hope OSBs. If you have Larsa's Burst, Tyro's Ultimate or Affliction break bring them!

Magic Master sucks too but that's because you have to hit him with 3 weaknesses, one of them being poison and dispel for his haste. I brought Vaan and used Poison Leaves and Bartz with his OSB to hit the fire and water weakness. His damage is not that bad if you have Vaan's BSB but you still feel limited if you're going for full medals.

Chadarnook is also a pain in the butt, you need magic for this fight since when he turns demon form he's immune to physical attacks until hit by fire/holy magic. You also have to make sure to count his 3 turns before he changes back and make sure not to hit him in naked lady form because he'll counter any non-holy attack with aoe confusion/sleep, oh and he also resists all elements besides Fire in demon form (even holy) With Mog's new burst, Raines' burst and Ley Lines I got Papalymo to do six hits and about 7000 per hit and got to his last 30% phase pretty quickly when he stops turning into the naked lady but he also used dispel and confused Relm when I needed to refresh shellga. Thankfully Mog's Moogle Justice is a magic breakdown and Chadarnook just used Ultimate Flash Rain so Papalymo could kill him before he could kill us.

Also huge tip about the Jump Start fight, equip Wall or whatever magic mitigation with the chance of full ATB bar at the start Record Materia, you always start at empty ATB bars and Chadarnook with most likye use Thundaga and kill one character before you can get mitigation up.

Alternatively, Auto Magic Lure and the major Lightning resist (which you probably want on someone regardless) also works very well against the Thundaga. I gave that combo to Tyro, and easily managed to survive until my Wall was up.

The FF15 is event is super easy, only 75 difficulty. You should have waited until the real event later if Noctis's OSB was your goal (especially since you'll want his LM anyway)

Main reason I pulled was a chance at Maria or Onion Knight's BSBs, but I didn't get either, but I'm happy with draw through. Guess I don't really need native VoF since I got Mog's burst for native faithaga/haste now.

I've been spending too much of this orb phase 2 catching up on the VI stuff, but I'm finally done.

The U++ CM was kinda annoying with his gimmick, but I have some quality mitigation in VI (Atk&Mag down on Setzer, ProShellga&Resx2 on Strago), so my lack of a Medica wasn't a problem at all. I took OK RW for some consistent NE damage.

Against A+, Celes Indoblade was seriously MVP. She drew so many single target Thundagas and spammed Twin Firestrike. Wall fell off because he didn't use enough AoE. So he killed my Maria with a 5000 damage jarring blow. As long as you're careful not to hit the goddess with anything non-holy, and keep your mitigation up, this isn't too bad.

Beat Braska's Final Aeon and d200 Torment Bahamut this morning.

I'm hearing horror stories about BFA but even with poor FFX synergy I still found him pretty easy with my dark mage team of Raines, Nabaat, Mog, Tyro and Relm. I had Relm use Rapha's burst as a RW and her command 1 so she could do both damage and heal, as well as build meter for her USB. Even though he had 500k HP I was tearing through him pretty quickly with Nabaat imperils stacking on him and 3 (or 4 in Raines' case) faithagas stacked.

Bahamut wasn't too bad but that 100% curaga counter was really annoying, I used the same team but swapped Nabaat for Alphinaud, and changed my RW to Fujin BSB but I still felt my DPS was lacking on the last 30%, I think I need to find a better RW or just wait until Cloud's USB is out for the later difficulties.

I actually beat d250 Bahamut since I found out you can cast reflect on him and his curagas will bounce off him onto you. His Mega Flares really hurts in that difficulty through, and he spams them frequently. Good thing Mog and Y'shtola's burst heal commands are instant.

Probably won't fight the D300 yet... 800k HP with only 3 bars? Immune to reflect now? Nope, this version was designed for Cloud's USB.

...Well I managed to make it this far against Sephiroth with mediocre FFVII synergy... Mostly relying on Tifa's damage reflect for DPS. Sephiroth's speed is so ridiculous especially considering that he ultimate dispels 3 times. This is such a instant cast fest, sheesh.

Edit-Also this event ends right before the Cloud USB Banner, oh that's so nice of you Dena >:/

Maw of Chaos Sephiroth is a right pain in the keister, guys. Radiant Shield is very helpful and sends a lot of damage his way, but watch out; Sephiroth responds to being hit below 80/60/40 with an immediate Ultimate Dispel and a few no-charge-time MT attacks, and the last thing you need is for Sephy to hit you with a strong MT attack, push himself over a damage threshold, and promptly follow up with some more strong MT attacks. I eked out a win by stalling against the lower forms to build up SB gauge; this is, of course, a lousy strategy if you're concerned about the timer.

The BSB is pretty cool (I want to do Cloud USB followed by a fully powered attack for 1,000,000 damage at some point), but the SSB is the relic I wanted the least on this banner. I would have even preferred a dupe Shantotto BSB as a nice FFXI synergy armor.

This tip helped me beat Sephiroth. I didn't even realize I had a character with Radiant Shield until I went looking and noticed I had Vincent's BSB. That did a ton of damage to him. It also helped me to rely on Last Stand for the parts where he hits with multiple powerful spells, and to have Vanille's BSB for instant healing.

Ashe Burst, Raijin Burst and Orlandeau Super. Nothing I was aiming for but at least I got Bursts off a normal banner finally

Sephiroth killed in 55-ish seconds. I tried a "normal" team at first, but I got massacred so I went the Radiant Shield way.

Vincent - Wrath, MM - Galian Beast BSB (Darkness+40%)
Fran - FB, MBD - Gaze of the Void BSB (Dr.Mog)
Fang - Lifesiphon, Lightning Dive - Highwind SSB (Sword+30%)
Edge - Phantasm x2 - Eblan Doppelganger BSB (Mako Might)
Yshtola - Curaja, Protectga - Asylum BSB (Lionheart)
RW - Guardian Mog

I figured, since he loves his Dispels so much, I'd just leave Wall at home and debuff him instead, to get the same effect. With everyone in the back row, the damage actually wasn't too bad, other than his first Meteor+Hell's Gate where I needed the Last Stand, since Fang didn't have a SB gauge yet. It was hard getting Protectga back up after the dispels, so I simply didn't bother.

Finally beat Sephiroth! I swapped Prishe for Selphie since I remembered I got her Ultra earlier which is instant with Last Stand, and it made the fight so much easier. I was reluctant at first since I used up all my MC3s on other characters I just got new relics for so I had to make due with her at level 80 and she can't use lifesiphon, but she used shellga and we stalled for meter on the first phase. The main thing holding me back is that in the third dispell phase with the 4 magic nukes, Tifa would alway die after Sudden Cruelty and octoslash before I could do anything unless I could get Prishe's super after Relm's USB, but having two instant medicas and waiting for Last Stand during the magic nuke part helped Tifa survive and bring the DPS, haste and keep the damage reflect up. Vaan's USB also help for DPS and I think it also stacks with Power Breakdown.

Ultimates mastered, even through TheChap says they're easy and for the most part they are but thet have some irritating trump cards.

Ahriman got torn apart by my holy mage team of Raines, Mog and Hope, Tyro and Relm. I was on cruise control but I accidently used Hope's BSB instead his OSB, and then Ahriman use Master Eye and did insane damage and killed my party (thankfully I could reset before I was forced to use mythril or quit.) On the next time I made sure to use it and did 99999 damage to finish him off before he used Master Eye again. Also it helps to have Multi-break since the clones can do nasty damage if unchecked.

Same team for Cid but swapped Hope for Papalymo to hit his fire weakness, he's pathetic except for one move, Cyclontron-something. That move does insane damage, like 7000 with wall, 4000 with wall+protect. I had to quit and swap Relm with Y'shtola for Power Break and instant cast heals.

Tyrant can be hard but pacified pretty hard as well. Main thing you have to worry about are Darkra nukes and Gravity (he uses it rarely but it'd be wise to hold on to a medica for when he does use it) Went physical this time with Ramza, Vaan, Minfilia. I used Celes BSB2 as my RW since that nullifies his single target magic attacks and covers his ice weakness, Minfilia used Gaia's cross to sponge the physical attacks and banishing strike to get rid of protect, Vaan built meter to use his BSB to pacify Tyrant's magic, and when Minfilia had meter for her burst she took over as the breaker and Vaan used his USB and instant Theif's Revenges for higher DPS.

I'm the crazy one who will skip the Cloud banner completely.

Cloud USB would be awesome, and Seph BSB would be cool, but the rest of the banner is completely underwhelming imo.
Cait relics are shit, Cloud BSB is a dupe, the 3 guns range from dupe to bad.
Zack Chain is ok, but requires too much setup to make it work, with lots of Wind BSBs, a crit-fixer, and a non-Shout Hastega being almost necessary to get the most of it.
