Beat Shadow Dragon in 27.29s, and that was with Ramza dying early on, right before Rosa's USB. He had just entrusted a second time to Orlandu though, so it worked out okay. Skipped black fang, as Orlandu's OSB hit for max damage, and he also managed to get a DCed assault sabre in. I believe the 99k OSB was a crit, as his last one later on (the final blow) did 78k I believe. I have Marche RW wall initially, then LS to use his USB, though if it gets dicey in those first few turns, he may have to use guardbringer immediately to skip black fang. I also had Enkidu as my magicite and forgot to use it right before Ramza died. Oh well. Team is below:

Orlandu: R3 hailstorm, R3 assault sabre, OSB, RM: Truthseeker (fully LDed) (also has LMR)
Marche: R4 lifesiphon, R2 guardbringer, USB, RM: Battleforged (fully LDed) (also has LMR)
Onion Knight: R2 (now R3) omega drive, protectga, pUSB, RM: Mako Might
Ramza: Wrath/Entrust, no SBs used, RM: Dr. Mog's Teachings (has LMR)
Rosa: R4 wrath, shellga, USB, RM: Ace Striker
Magicite: Enkidu (never used)

RW: Fabula Guardian

Basically Ramza opens with entrusting Orlandu, Orlandu hailstorms, OK uses pUSB, and Orlandu waits until that goes off to use an instant OSB. Marche summons wall, then either LS or guardbringer, depending on what my initial damage is looking like regarding black fang. Orlandu spams assault sabre (was only R2 for the first battle, is now R3) and uses OSB when it's up (or when Ramza entrusts, if he's still alive), Ramza batteries, OK uses omega drive as a little filler damage then recasts his USB, Rosa wraths and heals. Going to grind this a few times for some magicites before I try Mist Dragon.

EDIT: Ran him again. Ramza survived. Beat it in 22.53, fastest I've beaten any magicite. Pretty proud!

Think I might finally go after Shadow Dragon today. I'm thinking Orlandu and Marche for DPS, Ramza as entruster, Onion Knight as buffer, Rosa USB for healing. I'm trying to think of a way for Raines to slot in there, as I'm sure he'll help too, but having Orlandu and Ramza's LMRs is a crazy way to start a battle, as well as Marche LMR + legend dived for damage.

Finished the rest of the XIV event. Ravana was a bit annoying, but nothing too too bad, though Alphinaud almost died. Thankfully, MP Garuda gave 4* vitality motes, and apparently I hadn't done the vitality mote dungeon, so murdered King Behemoth for those. Gave me enough to fully 4* dive Orlandu and Marche, then legend dove both of them. I have Marche's USB and BSB, and just have Orlandu's OSB. Going to toss one last pull at the Orlandu USB banner when I get up to 50 mythril and see what I get.

By some miracle, I beat part 3 of Squall's event. Killed the Gaia Behemoth on turn 68, right after he nearly murdered Cloud with heave (left him with 68 hp). Used all 3 tickets, and they each got me a 3*. Did a gem draw beforehand on that banner once again, 4* mage masher for Zidane, and another 5* tiger fang for Tifa. I don't know how anyone has gotten more than one 5* on a draw, as I somehow still haven't. RNG man haha.

Still learning the game, fully finished chapter 1, haven't done a whole lot else yet. Blitz through the story, then go through the Squall event?

Pulled Vivi's Oak Staff in the tutorial draw, then D Cecil's 4* armor, Penelo's 4* weapon, and Rem's 5* weapon from the half off draw. Are any of those good? And I still have like, 12 or 13K gems. Any banner specifically that I should spend on? Finished the tutorial chapter.

25.54s kill with only one SSS double cast from Squall, and no hailstorm double cast from Ayame. Yeah, safe to say I have a reliable sub 30 team. Annnnnnd another Enkidu drop. Got enough Enkidu's to 99 him, and enough Fenrirs, and still no wing raptor.

Ugh Fenrir, drop the wing raptor Magicite already!! Like, I can reliably kill him in 24-25 seconds (with a couple doublecasts, still likely sub 30 without), so the major winds are nice, but he's dropped so many Fenrir Magicites. Finally got my 3rd Enkidu, so he's up to level 80.

So my sub 30 Fenrir team is Ayame as the main DPS, with BSB+hailstorm spam, and Squall supporting with snowspell strike, and OSB/USB. Now that I got his BSB2, I tried switching it up and making him the main DPS, but I've done it twice and gotten 32-34 seconds each time. Maybe because he doesn't have the self buff in hailstorm? Or his BSB2 takes a few turns to really get going?

Couple quick notes, after just putting in QB and HB/FB stats (sorry if I spam a few posts, I'm very much a stats guy):

- Off year for Carr, but he goes over 10K yards in the 4 seasons I've been GM, with a 74/54 TD-INT ratio.
- 2012 season: 9 rushing TDs, 2013 season: 17 rushing TDs.
- My fullback, James Todd, had 7 rushing TDs in the past 3 seasons. He ran for 8 this season. HB Chris Brown had 7 rushing TDs after only rushing for 2 in the previous season.
- 3rd string HB Felix Jones had 10 carries in the previous 3 years. He had 51 carries this year.

Time to plug in those stats and compare them to previous seasons. Looks like Carr had a down year, and is fairly older anyway, paving the way for Luck. FB Dane Todd had like, 8 or 9 TDs, which is crazy. Once again, looks like solid linebacker play, and both my starting DEs had 10+ sacks, which is nice.

Hydra down! Time wasn't great, 44:46, but it's done. No earth boosting gear at all, and sticking with an all physical team was tough due to lack of a good secondary DPS. Used Tifa, who wasn't bad (the shield from her USB was helpful), but even Bartz wasn't doing crazy damage. Will worry about sub 30ing him later, just happy he's outta the way. Shadow and Mist Dragons both available. Time to build teams around Raines.

Yeah, and if I go fabula raider, then I likely have to make a spot for Tyro on my team for wall. What I've gone with is 2 DPS, 1 booster (used to be Ramza, now is OK), 1 entruster (used to be OK, now is Ramza), and a healer (so far, Rosa USB master race). I'm likely to go more magical when I get to holy/dark, mainly to centre around Raines, so that may be a thing to look at.

Ayame's burst is definitely key to this. If I had Squall's BSB2 also, it would be total obliteration. Improved my time to 24.79 (got my 3rd Fenrir Magicite). I have quick hit on OK, which I've successfully used to get rid of his physical blink every time except once (that time it was a Ramza lifesiphon). My last run, I blocked each of the 3 (or 4?) savage withering winds that came my way, doing that is pretty key also.

Going to go through the Type 0 event to get the 5* earth spellblade, then try to put together a Hydra team centred on Bartz USB. I have Maria BSB too, but hybrid teams don't fair very well in Magicite normally because of the buffs needed for each.

Ugh the wind barrier that Sealion gives blocks the damage from savage withering winds, but not the slow apparently, as Ayame got slowed. Thankfully, that (and Rosa dying) happened right at the end, as I killed Fenrir with a Squall OSB (crit 83k) at 26.42. Even better, Enkidu was the magicite that dropped! I think this is a pretty reliable sub 30, as I didn't get many double casts. Just Hydra to go from the initial 6.

Beat Fenrir for the first time! Time of 38.43. I know I can sub 30 this, because I literally did 85% of this battle with 4 characters, only Ayame being a DPS. Squall was hit by a 6.5k bite before Elarra's wall was up, and was killed by savage withering winds before Rosa could use her USB. I don't have his BSB2, but I have his unique that grants en-ice, his OSB, and his USB, not to mention the possibility of dual casting SSS's, so I know that would've helped a bit. Got the Fenrir magicite (and a second copy as a first time reward), but I really want Enkidu, so I'm going to fight him a few more times, both for the sub 30 and Enkidu.

Edit: Team was Ayame (40% ice boost, even though one is Lulu's armor which gives no attack boost), Squall (20% ice boost), Onion Knight (pUSB), Ramza (entrusting Ayame), and Rosa (USB). Ayame, Squall, and OK are all legend dived.

I think I can improve some of my times as I not have OK's ninja USB, which will give me crits if nothing else. Means I'll have to focus on physical teams if I can. Rosa USB has been MVP of my 4 Magicite teams so far (Liquid Flame, Sealion, Golem, Bismark).

That is correct. Full front or back row parties can skip half the dispels (and a back row party can skip the first one, more time to set up buffs and such).
