also week 10 is the longest i made it in any previous season which only happened once when i went out week 10 according to the spreadsheets. most seasons i was out in the first couple weeks including the last two seasons. if i can advance to next week it will be a personal record at least

Sure but the more you acquire, the more darts you have to throw at the board. Even a team like hte bears *can* get some right if they try enough times. He is a proven talent, but I just don't ever like these types of trades unless they put you in contention. Going from bad to mediocre or even average just doesn't do it for me. It's a move a team pulls when they just want to be relevant.

Whatever contract Sweat ends up signing with that team will be a contract he regrets, and will probably just end with him being traded again the year it expires or the year before.

Yeah, Sweat is a good player. The Bears being buyers at the trade deadline is wild though because they need all the assets they can get.

I guess they can justify it by saying Sweat is better than anyone they'd draft with what they traded away.

Johnson was given permission to seek a trade. That's no guarantee that he gets traded.

This is truly the post-Snyder era in which there's a ridiculous deal involving Washington and they aren't the offending party
