Yuzuru Hanyu is definitely a legend, no doubt about it. But if Nathan Chen didn't choke on his short program, he might have challenged Hanyu for the gold. His free skate beat Hanyu's by around 7 points. Watched Nathan's interviews and I feel such pity for the kid; he put so much pressure on himself. And then he skates the free program with nothing to lose after falling to 17th and puts on the performance of his life. Ah well, Beijing is just four more years away.

Remember that Yuzuru Hanyu was going to go for a quadruple but decided to play it safe. Nathan pushed further than God could so he couldn't land it.

Ayyyy USA just beat Canada in curling. The upsets.

USA women's hockey team took the gold last night! Was a pretty epic game. Well, epic fails in the beginning by failing to score on so many power plays. But I had to stifle a cheer (my son was sleeping) when we scored the game tying goal in the 3rd period. OT was a bit nerve wracking, but thankfully we killed the penalty at the end. What a shootout though! The final score on the 6th shot was a beauty, and then the save against Agosta. Yeah, after that awful loss in Sochi, last night was pretty awesome to watch.

Wow, I just saw that USA Today Sports replayed a close up of French ice dancer Gabriella Papadakis's exposed breast and nipple which happened during the short program of the ice dance competition. I saw the dance live, but of course I didn't notice it. I knew it was a pretty big distraction for her which is why they got silver instead of gold, but wow, didn't realize her breast actually popped out. Uh, not gonna bother linking it, but you can google it easy I'm sure. So sad for them. They really deserved gold (the wardrobe malfunction distraction easily cost them the 2 points that would have lifted them above the Canadians), but instead they suffer this embarrassment.

edit: Also, I'm on the nbc site and all they have are clips. I want them to just have full events on there. I still don't understand why they don't do that. All I want is a video called "Snowboarding, BIg Air, Full Event"
