Spiders are pretty much my worst fear. I always try to get them out without harming them, but if I'm surprised by one or it gets on me, I'm going to be flailing like a maniac. My brother was the one who had to deal with spiders when he was here.

Exactly. If they're so tired of the situation just by seeing an occasional topic on it, they should try to imagine how awful the people living it are feeling. No matter how much they get frustrated by these topics, I have no doubt that it's literally nothing compared to the frustrations you're experiencing. I know how it goes.

I don't understand why people think this is a gimmick. Like honestly, what do I gain/you lose from me making these topics? If you don't like hearing about my fucked up life then ignore me, that's really all you can do. I wish I didn't make these topics as much as you do, but I have no other place to talk about it.

I had the same issue on potd, making topics about my crappy life, getting accused of being a gimmick because I don't have anyone else to talk to and need to vent. It sucks.

No science supports any concept that a senior citizen was communicating with a supernatural entity.

So, basically only 1 word in the title and opening post are relevant to the point you're trying to make here. Moses, that's it. Nothing else is relevant to that, and that's what you keep circling back to. So what was even the point in any of science you posted about?

So my words support the claim that a senior citizen communicated with a supernatural being who then opened the sea for him? Get the fuck outta here with that bullshit.

Why even bring up the science behind it parting if that's not part of your point? If it happened, it happened, whether a miracle or not, and the science you posted only supports that it might've actually happened the way the bible describes it.

If your entire point is that a man couldn't do it, then the science you posted has absolutely no bearing on that whatsoever. This is no different than claiming it didn't happen back before science said it was possible.

If the only point you have against the entire story is a guy raising his hand, with everything else you provided only supporting it, you seem to have made a self defeating argument, and are misrepresenting things(all the science stuff) to hide that you really don't any new argument to add, and only just helped support the opposite claim.

So it says it was wind from a storm and not God or some senior citizen communicating with God? Yeah I know, that's literally what this post is about.

What difference does it make? Science will never be able to prove, or disprove God. You're drawing a distinction between the parting of the Red Sea, and Moses parting the Red Sea just to have a point at all because everything you posted negates the claim you make in the title and op.

You seem to just want to insert your own belief(that there is no God) into some fact you just learned about, and use it as a tool against biblical accounts, when in actuality you only just very thoroughly proved that it could've happened exactly as it's depicted in the bible, whether it was coincidence or miracle doesn't really matter. You've pretty much proven it's not BS at all.

The logic doesn't exactly flow.

Bad paraphrasing is bad. Science doesn't say people can fucking split seas. It says that there is a reason they could have thought that because the conditions to leave the sea dry temporarily are not too unrealistic.

The science only indicates that it's an actual possibility that it opened a path when they needed one. Miracle or not, this only adds validity to the claim that it might've actually happened. Which is kind of the opposite of it being BS.

Also, I could've sworn this was figured out like 15 years ago anyway.

Plus there's the part where they place all the hero's closest friends into protective custody at the police station. They're all like "hey, I'm friends with Luke Cage." "Oh, I'm here because of Jessica Jones." "Danny Rand put us here."
Then they all turn to Foggy and Karen and go "Who are those guys?" and someone introduces them and explains they worked with Matt, who is suspiciously missing from the group, along with the aforementioned Jessica, Luke, and Danny. Besides, if anyone would need special protection from ninja assassins, it would probably be the blind guy.
I was thinking to myself at that point "well, they all just figured out Matt has powers now."

It's not so bad in the new movie.
Her dad is concerned that she's growing up and spending more time with boys from school. He acts creepy, sniffs her hair, and asks if she's still his little girl. Later, he hears rumors that she's been sleeping around with the boys in the losers club, and becomes angry. She pulls away from him(he was holding her hand really tightly) and says she not his girl any more. She falls backwards and he crouches over her, and begins to say something when she kicks him in the crotch and locks herself in the bathroom. When he kicks the door in, she nails him in the head with the toilet lid and leaves him unconscious in the floor.

There was a car trying to dodge the cops by slipping through the rest area I work at last night. They shot through the parking lot, probably going 90, and then slowed way down at the exit. Then a state trooper came racing in and caught up with them just as they tried speeding off again. I watched for a minute, but it looked like he had everything settled and they weren't trying to get away after he caught up. They likely got a hefty ticket.

Also, they can ticket you and fine you $500 just for parking wrong here.
