My wife and I were talking about if she should design a tattoo for me to get before she passes away or after in memoriam. She is a very good artist and has strong opinions of tattoos. I've never had one before so... yeah.

This is both heartwarming and heartbreaking. You're way stronger than I would be. This is making me want to cry and I'm not even involved.

I despised high school. Looking back, it was my undiagnosed social anxiety kicking in. But being cooped up with a bunch of people all day, given tasks then judged on it, working with class mates on projects.

It made me withdraw and try to avoid everyone, which in turn made everyone dislike me. I was heavily bullied and made fun of. I was very passive, so I never tried to stop it.

It was just torture. Everyone else hated the classes, but that was my only break. Having everyone be forced to sit silently and focus on something other than each other. Class was easy, I spent every class daydreaming, half asleep, and sketching pictures and still outperformed most everyone else. Even won some kind of award for being one of the best performing students in the district and I never even paid attention. It just made them dislike me even more. One other person at my school got the same award and she was furious that someone like me got it too. I just couldn't win.

Body aches are the worst part

This. I had it back in 2020 and I don't remember anyone mentioning this at all back then. I didn't even feel sick really, it was just a persistent cough that didn't even give a swore throat... But those dang body aches. I felt like I was 100 years old with arthritis. It was fine if I stayed moving, but if I stayed still for 20 minutes it felt like I was run over by a truck to start moving again.

Lost my taste and smell, but I honestly didn't even mind that. It came back after a week or so, and the only side effect of that was it changed how Cool Ranch Doritos smelled. They now smell like Chlorine, but taste fine. *Shrug*

I had a crush on my one obese coworker years ago. When my brother learned it, he said we'd be a 10 as a couple. I'd be the 1 and she'd be the 0(talking body shapes not ratings or whatever).

Mods realized where his eyes were. They didn't like what they saw in them.

My cousin that lives here got one. I'm the only one who uses it though. He hogs my PS4 instead. Been tempted to see if he'd trade with me, but it seems he thinks they're both his anyway... So attempting a trade may not work. No need to go that route at the moment though since he's still living here.

I don't recall where I heard it, probably from one of the leaks earlier in the year. It said there was going to be several mimic pokemon. Ones that are based on existing pokemon but are new species despite just being new versions of existing ones. Looks like that was accurate.

Iirc it also said there'd be ancient and futuristic versions of existing pokemon too, but I don't recall if that was the same source as the mimic pokemon.

Because it won't stop leaking.

Yeah, I used to be afraid of social boards and only used gaming boards and only discussed the games. Once I got involved with potd and ce, I stopped using the gaming boards mostly.

That's good, I'm glad you're having a good time.

I really did. Plus, mom seems to be planning on making this a yearly trip. It was surprisingly affordable. So, I'm hyped that we can go again.

Also, it's looking like things might escalate with dad.

Edit: False alarm. Something happened and I thought it was something he did, but it wasn't him but a neighbor. Thinks have been ok so far, he's going on like usual business but I'm still livid.

I wouldn't let him. I know it's hard but think more about all the fun you have had. These pics in this topic are really good and it's good you had a great time (for the most part). I love visiting a seaside town called Whitby here in England. It's very therapeutic for mental health as it has a beach but also a nice trail that is farmland and countryside. The trail leads to Robin Hoods Bay and that too is a nice seaside town.

I'm trying, man. But, he's going to be part of my life until one of us dies. It was fantastic fun, but I'm back home now. He's here. All of our lives revolve around him.

Things had been good between us for a while. But I guess a day and a half of seeing me happy was too much for him. He had to lash out.

Wow, never figured they could be so pretty.

Edit: Also, I'm not 100% what I saw when we were leaving. I think it could've been a whale, but I really only saw a big dark spot in the water. It bobbed above the surface for just a second and had a bunch seagulls congregating on it. I wasn't going to mention it unless more than a shadow and birds were apparent, but when I looked away dad shouted that he saw a whale and was pointing at it. But we were on the road and my view got blocked seconds later. I did see more dolphins just before that though.

It's fine. It's just part of life. I'm not going to let him overshadow the fun I had. It was seriously a wonderful trip aside from him. I enjoyed it so much. I've got tons more pictures to share, just not particularly in the mood at the moment.

Last week on my birthday.

Well, got home a while ago.

So, what happens as soon as we step inside the house? After a weekend of him being pampered and not having to lift a finger or spend a dime? Starts cussing and insulting and threatening us. It got really heated and almost came to blows. I'm so pissed at this man.

Got home just a bit ago. I NEVER want to be in a vehicle with my dad for that long ever again.

Then when we got home, after a weekend on the beach where he didn't spend a dime, as soon as we enter the house he starts cussing us and threatening us again. Yelling and screaming and insulting me. It almost came to blows. If it had I would've laid his sorry ass out this time. It won't be repeat from when I was too young and naive to think I could fight back. I'm so done with this man. He just had to find a way to ruin what was the best part of my life.

I have no idea but it tends to run high. It's been high every time I've gone to the doctor over the last few years.

I asked once if I should be concerned over that and they said no. Last visit they made a remark about it and asked if it's always a little high. I said yes, and asked again if it's a problem and they said no.

So, idk.

Another fun day. It was a trip to the aquarium, then lots of arguing, then a trip back to the beach where dad and I actually had a great time in the water. Heading home now.

Just now leaving. Phew, it was a fun trip. But now it's time for 6 hours in the car.

He's a wizard that can manifest as a pig demon. In the early games he was fought in his pig form while later versions it's usually both forms.

Doesn't Link learn how to time travel in one of the games? Wouldn't that then effect every game?

It did, I think that's made them plan out the timeline events. The time travel apparently created a 3 path split in the timeline. One where Link was successful and defeated Ganon. One where he defeats Ganon and then abandons that timeline to return to his original one. So he's absent for that timeline afterwards. Then his original timeline where he prevents Ganon from gaining power and remains an active player in events moving forward. Then an unseen 3rd timeline where Ganon won somehow.

The only ocean beaches I've been to were Vancouver Island or the west coast. I've seen orcas and other whales but no dolphins.

Ooh, I want to see an Orca. I'm at Virginia Beach at the moment.

Wish I could've gotten pictures or video of the dolphins. But I left my phone in the room because I was getting the water. Then we watched them for an hour or so. Then it was too far from the room to see them in pics. :/
