Things in my life are changing. An opportunity arose to rent a building for cheap. Mom has been looking for a place to rent to put a small business, and the place came with an apartment attached. So... I guess I'm getting an apartment. I'm paying for everything, unless the business earns enough to cover the rent in which case it'll just cover it.

Kinda nervous about moving, and for the business to do well. If it earns nothing, the rent will eat most of my paycheck from work(though, I'm only working 2 days a week so it's not a huge paycheck anyway).

Kinda stressed about mom's friend who is trying to take control, and has been stealing anything we put in the building(her apartment is next door on the opposite side from mine). She's the one who worked it out for us to get it so cheap, so we feel obligated to involve her... But she's taking everything. Even mom's mop and cleaning supplies. She's taking furniture out of my apartment that the landlord left for me to use. >_>'

Also, despite things going pretty well with the potential to be even better, I've just been deeply depressed again lately. haven't felt this bad in a long time.

No. Which is stupid, because things are finally starting to go my way for once. It could easily tip back to being bad, but that hasn't happened yet.

Dad used to use guns as intimidation to get his way. As far as I recall he only actually shot at me once or twice as a "joke." Like those old western movies where they shoot at someone's feet and tell them to dance. He tried that on me and shot like a foot away from my feet on either side. At that point though, I was depressed enough to care any more. Was hoping he'd hit me so I get him sent to jail.

My cousin when she was younger. A guy cornered her in an alley one night and shoved a gun in her face. He told her to get naked. Instead she told him to just go ahead and shoot her because that wasn't going to happen. He ran away.

Exactly my thoughts. At that point he didn't know Din was coming for him instead of escaping. Din also had no idea where the control room was at that point, so Gideon choosing to track him down makes sense. Go get him before he escapes. Instead he chooses to hide and hope things work out somehow. Then they didn't, and it was treated as if we were supposed to care that the clones were destroyed. Maybe if we knew what his plan was before it was shut down and had time to think they'd be a threat it'd be different.

Maybe it's just me, but that quote feels very sarcastic.

2 I think. A cheap pair I bought for like $2 at Walmart, and a set that came with my phone.

1: I'm in some kind of labyrinth or maze. Running for my life. There's always something after me, but it varies on what it is. A monster, a killer, my dad. There are always various traps and I end up getting stuck as the pursuer catches up and kills me... Except the perspective shifts to a different version of me who just witnessed the first one's death before dropping in and repeating the process. It usually goes through 2-3 times before I wake up.

2: Some werewolf like monster escapes from a hidden room under our house. It chases me and mom outside. We end up at a cliff with no where to go. Usually it knocks her off the cliff before attacking me and waking me up. Rarely it'll knock me off instead and I wake up.

3: Me and mom are driving somewhere and stop to stretch our legs. Someone walks up to us and pulls a weapon. It's a carjacking, and our phones are in the car still. Before he leaves, he always either shoots or stabs one of us. If it's mom, then I'm left in the middle of nowhere watching her bleed out with nothing I can do. If it's me, I'm left lying on the ground with her frantically trying to help but I know there's nothing she can do.

Last year when my family went to the beach. Dad found a channel on TV that only played that movie and left it in all night. It played all night long. lol
