So with the subclasses should I stick one to each character or rotate them around to get different passive skill combinations for each character and to have a party that always compliments each other? I guess that depends on how much of that XP currency you get right?

Right now my Primrose has the Scholar subclass but I'm thinking I should wait to spend the powerful spells until later in the game? They're not really needed yet.

I'm also trying to get everyone around the same level. Works pretty well for everyone outside of Primrose and Therion who are overlevelled lol.

Outside of Black Lightning isn't this still the case? You've got the CW, Fox and now this new streaming service.

Even though Warner Bros owns the properties they've still been licensing them out to different studios and channels and I doubt they're interested answering to some complicated canon.

Even Marvel seems pretty fractured. Has their stuff on ABC ever referenced the Netflix shows?

WB really need to ditch the dumbass block list for their characters though. They shouldn't have to rely on Stephen Amell asking the CEO personally to name drop Bruce Wayne.

It's so damn ridiculous that Gotham can't use the Joker name.

I don't think these connected universes matter at all unless it's the same people behind everything to link it together.

It is the same thing. People got upset Keaton was cast just like they did with Ledger. 50,000 people signed a petition to get Keaton fired. Ledger is not the only example of a controversial casting that turned out well.

People didn't like High Jackman cast as Wolverine because he was too tall

People didn't like Michael Clarke Duncan cast as Kingpin because he was black

Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman is the most recent example.

There's countless more. If anything I'd say people like Eisenberg are the exception. I don't think anyone had an issue with Leto being cast as Joker and he's the worst one by far.

It's the only time in the history of comic book movies when an apparent miscast turned out to not be a miscast. Also, as good as the role was, that was not the Joker. People felt cheated at a first glance because that was not the character they were used to and he wasn't. But people forgave the artistic liberties because it was the best villain performance of the 2000s and, yes, because the actor had died.

Nope. Michael Keaton for very similar reasons. People didn't think they could take him seriously because he was known for comedic roles.

There have also been several different interpretations for the Joker over the years. There is no static version of him. He works as a light-hearted prankster and as an incredibly dark and twisted character. That's why he has stuck around for 75 years.

There was also some clear inspirations from comics like The Killing Joke.

Skye Reynolds posted...
It was just kind of a hushed whisper at the time that the character had nothing in common with any prior incarnation of the Joker beyond color scheme and underlining motivation. Had Heath Ledger lived, I think the movie's dramatic reimagining of the Joker would've been a lot more controversial. Maybe I'm wrong about that. We'll never know.

Wrong again. People turned around once that first trailer came out. That was before he died.

Skye Reynolds posted...
But to act like everybody was wrong and we should withhold judgment is silly. 9 times out of 10, your first instincts will be correct. If a scrawny guy gets called to play the hulking henchman, or a 22 year old is cast to play an 88 year old scientist, there's an overwhelming possibility that the final result will be just as terrible as you would imagine.

People were upset because they knew him from romcoms and a movie where he played a gay cowboy and thought he had nothing else to offer. They didn't base it on physical characteristics at all.

He must have nailed his audition. That's why he got the role. That's the stuff fan casters don't see. The opinions were based on complete ignorance.

Digging through social media feeds and posts from years ago to find some dirt definitely seems more like an alt-right thing. I remember a bit of this during Gamergate. We saw it not long ago with Jimmy Kimmel Man Show skits. We're seeing it yet again in this topic.

The left wing controversies are usually current unless it's a sexual harassment accusation from a victim. Biggest exceptions I can think of are Milo Yiannopolous (which I think was only a year or so old) and the leaked Trump audio where he bragged about grabbing pussies. It wouldn't really make much sense to dig through social media of people like this anyway. It wouldn't lead to anything. These people are unapologetic about who they are. Traditional conservatives probably won't be posting edgey humor either and no one would care if they said some dated shit a decade ago.

This is solely talking about social media stuff though. When it comes to politics digging up dirt is old hat.

The internet and social media is just a shitshow tbh. Sometimes it seems like eventually the only people posting on social media will be people looking to argue and upset others. I'm surprised celebrities even bother.

I'm sure plenty of people didn't watch every MCU movie that built up to that point beforehand. The concept of a massive crossover movie isn't that hard to understand on its own.

Ant-man has only really been a factor in Civil War as well in the crossover movies. He's not as obvious as characters like Iron Man and Captain America too. The movie never marketed any links to Infinity War. So maybe that's also a factor.

- Look on your map for points if interest (an exclamation mark). These will give you some sort of major hint or opportunity
- People with unique, one of a kind outfits generally give you access to a target. Keep an eye out for them
- Don't get into gun fights. Take people out in secret unless you're taking advantage of an accident kill or a remote explosive

I rewatched the scene.

The First Order didn't think she was going to kamikaze them. They thought it was a distraction. They even knew she was about to go light speed. They specifically were ordered to fire on the escape pods instead. By the time they realized what she was doing it was too late for them to do anything. Even if they shot her down beforehand she would have distracted them long enough for the escape pods to get away. That was all that really mattered. She got lucky destroying them.

So building up ships and droids to pilot kamikaze ships (that are the right size and in the right position to do damage) in the hope that these ships are too distracted probably isn't feasible.

I was here before the Xbox launched, when it was announced even. The consensus around gamefaqs was that it would fail.

I don't blame anyone who would think that.

Hell without Halo maybe it would have.

I remember some gaming magazing I read claimed the name meant that it was a console/PC hybrid. I knew literally one kid who thought that was a good idea lol.

I dunno where they got their info though. Turns out Microsoft actually did their best to keep peoppe from associating it with PC's, lol.

Depending on when those rumors were published they would have been accurate for the time.

At one point the Xbox (Or xBox at the time named after Directx) was gonna be a bunch of different OEMs handled by companies like Dell. I guess pretty similar to what Windows Mixed Reality is now. I think this was around 1999.
The CEO of Dell actually told them why this wouldn't work
"When you understand why my stock price goes down when I drop the price on a PC and Sony's stock price goes up when they drop the prince on a PlayStation you'll understand why I have no interest in your proposal"

Right after this was when they started their big huge X looking console.

Eventually the Xbox team decided it wasn't worth using Windows 95 on it. This is what made a lot of people in Microsoft flip out originally.

They fully intended to make a PC style console originally. If the rumor was in 1999/2000 it would have been accurate.
