The best superhero villains are those ones who make you think "You're crazy and bad and all but...I get it. I get why you are the way you are."

It's so much more interesting than just some guy who wants power or money for the sake of it. Having a logic or emotion behind it is so much better. If you feel like you're relating to the villain that makes them really compelling.

Killmonger has a lot of political and racial commentary behind his motivations that isn't usually there in the MCU. Vulture is the closest with his beliefs about the divide between the lower and upper class.

Killmonger brings the racial divide and oppression angle which really adds something unique. The cool thing about him is that being black is a large part of his character. It wouldn't be the same without it. Similar to Magneto living through the holocaust as a Jewish child.

RE5 showed a pretty jarring shift away from horror (at least RE4 did it with the atmosphere, though still moving away from the old gameplay style) and RE6 was even further away. People wouldn't be judging it against the whole series.

I can accept actiony RE6. I even kinda liked RE5. But RE6 was an incredibly mediocre shooter and action game.

Even in the Japanese front Vanquish and Binary Domain are significantly better shooters. RE6 was a bloated mess. If it wasn't tied to a big franchise it wouldn't have made any impact at all.

My favorite Bond game was always Everything or Nothing. That really felt like a proper playable Bond movie.

It even came with an additional split screen coop mode! It was hard as hell. It was like a side story with the main game.

It also had a weird power stone mode for 4 players.

I forget what the name of the smallest multiplayer map is but playing against bots and having their accuracy set on very high with snipers only was a nightmare but crazy fun. You would die in a split second half the time off the spawn.

I miss bots and doing fun crap like this.

In Timesplitters 2 I made a map where I spawned bots in the middle and spawned myself in a room with a window they couldn't access and used it for sniping practice.

the first few games, you had designed stealth segments in almost every room. Compared to metal gear solid 5, where you have bases miles away, so thats a lot of traveling and doing nothing.

Stealth games have been the biggest genre hurt by modern gaming. They generally require a big budget and they don't fit standard multiplayer (No idea why Spies vs Mercs isn't popular anymore) or open world gameplay.

The only ones to really survive are the immersive sim types like Hitman, Deus Ex and Dishonored but even those still flop. A downside of games like these is that they need to account for both playstyles too (and people still complain that they're punished for murdering everyone).

It does suck that AAA single player games generally have to account for;
- Multiplayer balance
- Open world gameplay

Tightly focused, linear single player games seems like a model they're moving away from. There are still some good exceptions at least.

Dual pistols are pretty good. Especially with flurry shot. Mission can stealth crit people for big damage IIRC.

Outside of that both Zaalbar and Canderous are better melee fighters thanks to their stats.

My wife is a teacher.

She works all the time. She has worked every single weekend since school started back here in January. She works long days. She has an incredibly difficult class this year. The job would break the majority of the users on this board. She had to scrap all of the work she did over the weekend because last night it was decided that there was going to be long lessons dedicated solely to behavior management. Stuff like this is common.

When it comes to the leave she does get a long summer break. But the downside is she can't choose her days off. She's off when the kids are. So if we ever go on a trip or overseas or whatever it's during peak season. I also have to hope nobody else at my job has already booked that time off. This might not be as big of a deal in America though were next to no one gets much leave.

If a claim is made, I want to see proof of it one way or another. I operate on facts, not feelings. If you're happy to believe something is untrue simply because your feelings want it to be untrue, more power to you. I like to know for real. It's very, very easy to verify whether these kids are students at that school or not, and I'd like to see actual evidence.

The claim here is that these kids are actors. So yes I'd like to see evidence of that.
