I like it. Mighty is fun. Ray isn't as fun as I'd thought he'd be >_> The levels don't seem made for Mario Cape shenanigans.

They also added a bunch of fun cheat codes in the sound test just like Sonic 2 >_>

Encore Mode in Sonic Mania is fucking hard though. Maybe I'm just bad at Sonic games, but it's brutal. I've never played the old ones, so I don't know what they're like, but Mania is far and away more difficult than any Mario game I've played. So I don't really get that whole "Sonic is easier than Mario" thing.

I will never forgive Inzuka for that "Sonic has two worlds" bullshit, thanks to him no the classic characters like Mighty,Ray,Honey,Fang,Bean and Bark aren't allowed to be used in the new IDW comics which are under extremely heavy manadates such as the characters never changing clothes, the characters cannot have character development, the characters cannot lose to Eggman flat out, the characters cannot be in named locations and Sonic must be in every single issue.

We're stuck with this watered down thing because Archie were stupid enough to sell the Ken Penders era of their comic books despite his constant attempts to sue them with Sega warning them they'd pull the licence again if he showed up and sure enough he reared his fat ugly head again when he found out Archie was profiting off his old work.

The most insulting thing is that despite the positive reaction to seeing Mighty and Ray again Inzuka immediately said they would not appear in any other games besides Mania and there would be no sequel to mania never mind that it's the highest rated sonic game in 15 years, never mind that it was so popular they made a physical release, never mind that the people working on it were true blue sonic fans. Fuck'em, Sega of Japan says instead to buy their shitty ass watered down from Sonic and All stars transformed racing game instead WITH WISPS and no other sega characters but sonic characters and not even the good ones but ones like a a flock of Chao, Big the cat and three different colored egg pawns on a fucking 15 character roster with a terrible team gimmick that makes you lose if even 1 of your teammates are in last place even if 2 of you are first and second you still fucking lose the race because of that!

What a bunch of bullshit.

The DLC is cheap and great tho. It's worth it for 2 new characters, pinball, and Hard mode.
I wish they had added more levels though. Angel Island Zone was such a cocktease.

I'm curious to learn more about the cause. Why did they have a court battle over sonic characters in the comics and why there had to be a move that removed old characters from cannon.

Also what is the deal with sonic mania? Why won't there be another and why won't they let sega use Ray and Mighty again?
