I didn't mean to trivialize macro and micro nutrients, those are obviously super important and just because you are losing weight in a caloric deficit it doesn't mean you are getting "healthier." Some people on Ozempic are finding this out as they don't change their diet, they are mostly losing muscle and little fat because they are malnourished. I was just trying to say that calories are the most important thing to track when it comes down to a healthy diet, since even on a steady diet of eggs/chicken/broccoli/rice you can gain weight if you eat too much.

When it comes to making a healthy diet for yourself and lose weight, the first thing to do is pick a calorie goal and track it. The second thing is to break those calories down into a healthy ratio of carbs/fat/protein, and make sure you are hitting those goals. Finally you can use something like Cronometer to track your micro nutrients, and you can tweek your foods a bit to make sure you are hitting all those recommendations.

Basically the secret is don't eat too much (track your calories) and eat healthier options (hit your macros).

I think Rage in Super Smash Bros Ultimate is a pretty dumb mechanic, basically the higher your % the more knockback your moves do. Most games you both hit each other a lot on your first stock, then say you get killed, now not only are you down a full stock but your opponent hits like a truck and can kill you even earlier.

At least Ultimate toned this down quite a bit compared to Wii U, but it is still annoying sometimes. As far as some characters like Lucario, Terry, Joker, etc having their own mechanic I dont mind it too much, it makes that character unique.

Its actually the opposite, losing weight can simply be broken down by calories in/calories out. You can eat whatever you want, as long as you expend more calories you will lose weight.

Capital gains tax rate is capped at 20%, so if you are a single taxpayer any taxable income you make above roughly $43k I believe (going off memory, did not look this up) is taxed at a higher rate than Bezos's 8.5 BILLION DOLLARS.

They had Benchmark day in my Studio Red class today, treadmill was basically run as far as you can in 9 minutes. I got 1.43 miles, averaged a 6:17 mile pace, I am pretty surprised since I have only been doing this HIT class a few times a week for like 2 months now. Like 6 years ago I peaked at a 5 minute mile when I was deep in Orange Theory, but after that I have hardly done any endurance cardio. The ideal way to lose weight is diet and exercise, but we have been saying that for years and fat people are just getting fatter. I think incorporating a healthy diet and exercise routine, then using Ozempic as a boost to suppress hunger is the most ideal scenario for a positive outcome, and then hopefully the person can drop Ozempic after some time and the healthy habits stick.

There are some drawbacks though, I think like 1 in 5 people have such bad side effects (mostly nausea) that they can't even continue the drug. If you don't change your habits (and unfortunately most people don't), then you are either on the drug for the rest of your life or you gain the weight back. Also if you still have a crap diet, then all that happens is you eat less crap, so you are in a calorie deficit but you are now lacking all major nutrients, leading to malnourishment. This is why a lot of people on Ozempic lose a lot more muscle than fat, so their body fat % actually goes up (even though the weight is coming down), which is even more unhealthy.

Its always held up good for me. I have since dropped rice though, instead I just get my carbs from a couple slices of bread and I make a PB&J. Get a low calorie jelly and go light on the peanut butter

Meal prepping makes dieting so much easier in my opinion, I cook a ton of chicken breasts every Sunday or Monday that lasts throughout the week for lunches, and dinner I usually make something that has 3 or 4 portions that I can save for dinner throughout the week.

There are tons of cheap, easy to make, and tasty recipes online that have great macros and are low calorie.
