I think what ride is talking about is that ultimate has a rather annoying feature where meteor smashes will KO before reaching the bottom blast zone because the game "raises" the blast zone to ensure the spike will actually spike and kill (for whatever reason).

Oh dang that is crazy, seems like something to make sure Chrom/Ike/Cloud suicide spikes killed the opponent first? But looking at the replies they clarify that depending how far down the blast zone is, it has different effects, some stages Chrom dies first and some they both die at the same time. Weird, I had no idea that was a thing

In the game when you spike someone off stage. The blast zone doesn't kill you. The moment you disappear from sight you do.

Over population is no longer a concern, population decline is actually starting to become a big problem for a lot of countries. Gen Z is about 30% smaller than Millenials, which was smaller than the generations before it. Not having enough people to produce the goods that the whole population needs could be devastating.
