Not even HuffPo blames them. Oil is a globally traded commodity. Prices are going up because the summer was hot so demand increased, some refineries had to shut down because the heat lowering supply, and Saudi/Russia just extended their production cuts through the end of the year, again lowering supply.

I realized it wasnt ever gonna be about how much power I amassed or how many great movies I made, or if I won awards, it was always just going to be the people that I surrounded myself with, she says. The thing that Ive been most surprised by lately is how much respect Im getting from these middle-aged white dudes that I work with.

That was a fun puzzle, took me about 15 minutes, filled in all the 1s first, then 2s, and so on. Had to start using some marks on the rows/columns to remember which ones had circled numbers when I got to the 7's 8's and 9's. Fun rule set, haven't seen it before!

Looks like there aren't even accusations that the boys were secretly taking photos of the girls without their knowledge in the original petition. If all they did were take public social media photos, print them out and tape them onto pokemon cards, they should be punished but definitely not expelled.

They have a script written by Alex Garland (wrote 28 days later, Dredd, Sunshine, Ex Machina) from the 2000s which has been leaked, it is way better than the Halo show we got. Basically just covers the Halo CE game, with some Covenant focus and emphasis on Captain Keyes and other marines. They combine a few missions to save time too. It pretty much becomes a horror movie once the Flood is released.

Yeah, all of this. Halo as a story could legit be pretty damn cool but it almost seems like they actively try not to make it so. Cortana going rampant? The concept of rampancy was first introduced in the books, rampancy didn't involve becoming a typical AI tyrant. Blue Team? Also books, have very established characters. Like I said in a previous post, essentially boiled down to mere cameos with no effect on Master Chief even though they could have absolutely been used to finally humanize him as John and not just the Chief.

Halo 5 was absolute garbage, I still have no idea how 343 and Microsoft let that game get made with that story and campaign. Who thought it would be a good idea to just fight the Warden like 6 different times?

Then they have 6 years to make Infinite (usually there is 3 years between games), and it is so terrible they delay it a year and have to bring in Joe Staten (an OG writer/designer from Bungie) to scrape together some sort of playable campaign, and they just had to leave Multiplayer a glitchy mess for years. I cant imagine what kind of game we would have gotten if we got Infinite a year early on its original release date lol

Im a little nervous with what Filoni has planned with the Night Sisters and these beings from the new Galaxy. Lots of rumors that Thrawn is just a red herring and the real threat is the Night Sisters and their witchcraft.

I mean Halo CE came out in 2001, and was groundbreaking for the amount of story they did include in the campaign for an FPS, especially on console. By today's standards it is mediocre though, but at the time it was revolutionary.

It is also pretty wild that there was 0 crossover advertising or promotions or anything with the release of the Halo TV show and Halo Infinite. Microsoft and 343 are managing Halo so poorly, it is embarrassing.

If they were taking candid photos of the girls and sharing them around, especially on school grounds, then harsh punishment and maybe expulsion could be on the table.

It sounds kind of like they were just sharing photos from social media of the girls in collages around to each other and rating them? If that's the case then they should be punished, but definitely not expelled. I wonder if we will get more information

Classy press conference from Prime, just a good ol fashion butt kicking. Love his comment at the end, best to get him now, cause this is definitely the worst CU will be. They are gonna be scary good next year and beyond, Primes recruiting classes are going to be insane.

They would have to add some extra meat, but the overall plot should have just been the first game. Add in some flashbacks of Reach, other major battles, Chiefs training, Chief watching the other Spartans die, and make several Marines like Johnson main characters. Add in more plot with The Arbiter and the Covenant side. You can get 8 hours out of that easy.

Crazy how a few months later The Last it Us came out and was extremely popular and well received, because it basically just adapted the first game.

All they had to do for Halo was just adapt the first game. How hard could that be?? No need to get into all the ONI/Halsey stuff, are the UNSC good or not questions. Just focus on Master Chief and the Pillar of Autumn on Halo. Would be a great story.

Why do I not really question why toys are alive and how the world works in Toy Story, but in Barbie I just cant get over how dumb the setting is. Why is there a Barbie world? Why does Mattel care about it so much? How do people move back and forth??

It ruined Barbie for me, but I dont have a problem with Toy Story is it just characters and plot quality?

what that's awesome. i went to CU and the football team was probably the most talked about part of the school. this was probably massive news. sounds badass.

CU was maybe the worst team in college football last year too, going 1-11. Winning 3 or 4 games this year would be a good turnaround for a new coach. Prime is already 3-0. Just sucks CU is in the best conference in football, pretty much every game is against a ranked opponent. If this was a regular year where Pac 12 sucks, CU could win 9 easy, and it would be one of the best program turn arounds of all time

Before the season I thought Colorado and Deion would need a miracle to go to Oregon and win.

Now, I think Oregon is still the favorite, but if CU plays well they can definitely get the win.
