What kind of dub did they use, if you could tell? Was it the old dub, new dub with Remake VAs, or completely new VAs entirely? IIRC the Complete Edition never got a dub until now which is why I ask.

No, the complete edition was definitely dubbed before. I watched it and I don't really watch stuff with subs.

Found AC Complete dubbed on Youtube as a rental, kinda thinking about doing that. Cheaper than buying a movie ticket for a potentially crowded theater.
