Because, while the doors are unlocked after closing time, someone can come in and rob you.

You do know that the most popular time to rob a place is after closing time, right? That's why you lock the doors at closing time.

We leave the doors unlocked while customers are still in the store and we still have people everywhere up front including a couple of people sorting stuff out the front that needs sorting at close and as soon as the last customer is out we lock the doors.

most places i know lock the doors and leave someone next to the door who opens only to leaving customers

Imagine somebody grabbed the parents of school shooting victims to talk about the dangers of white people. It's wrong and stupid.

Trump is talking about illegal immigrants. These are people who break our immigration laws.

He's not talking about a specific race or ethnicity. Hispanics and illegal immigrants are not synonymous.

A better comparison to what Trump is doing would be to talk out people who actually break our firearms laws and use to them to harm others and demand harsher punishments for them which would be 100% fair.
